What's been your weirdest pregnancy symptom?

Thought it would be fun to have a bit of a lighthearted thread about all the weird things that we go through.

Mine is that if I get cold my boobs are agony! It's like someone is pinching my nipples really hard, I've been close to tears with the pain at times. I also didn't pick a great time to be pregnant as it turns out! I have never heard of anyone else having this but apparently my mum and sister did so I'm not alone! Anyone else? Or any other random / funny symptoms?

My histamine levels went mad, I was sooo snotty with a phlegmy cough & the eczema I had at the end of first trimester was evil. It has not been a graceful pregnancy!

I got the sore boobs as well. For the first few weeks every time I tried to cross my arms I would gasp in my pain.

I am weirdly drawn to certain smells, and can't get enough of them. The smell of products literally make me buzz with contentment, the more chemical the better. I had to ask my mil what the lovely smell in her house was, as I kept finding myself thinking about it and looking forward to visiting again! She sent me home with an air freshener and it literally made my Christmas!!😂 I can smell it now in fact and am still loving it. Slightly more concerning, I've also found myself enjoying the smell of cigarette smoke (I don't smoke and normally hate the smell) and petrol. Needless to say I'm not to indulging in these ones, just notice in passing that they are actually quite pleasant to my pregnant nose.
Also, and this is gross, as my pregnancy has progressed I find I can't seem to fully empty my bladder, but then the minute I stand up from trying, I leak! 😱 I've not shared this with anyone as am mortified by it, although I gather this is likely to be an issue after chlld birth anyway?!

Sneezing a million times a day

Furry belly

Cramping after orgasm

Freezing cold all the time

I'm 29 weeks and can't even believe how sensitive/painful my nipples are!! and I'm like Rachel from friends at the minute- nearly poking people's eyes out!! 😂 I'm hoping that disappears after birth because the thought of a small human being fed from them is just horrific at the minute!

And I can't stand the smell of DH 😳 at the minute I particularly think that he's got bad breath and it's all I can smell around him. He hasn't, never has had and I can smell it even when he's freshly showered and teeth brushed (yes, I've made him do it... at all hours as well!!!)

And apparently, overuse of 'at the minute' is a problem for me too! Hahaha... must read reply before posting!!

I've been thinking my DP was getting stinky breath! He's very hygienic so maybe it's just me 😬

The smell thing is strange isn't it. I've been craving all smells I normally hate, musty potatoes, damp rooms, petrol, white spirit

My nipples are breath taking agony when it gets cold - merino wool breast pads have helped a bit.

Also...dry scalp... I'm like a walking snow storm!

When I was pregnant with Dd
I really really wanted to lick anything bright lime green. Metallic green cars made me literally drool!

My hiccups changed
Rather than having an episode of hiccups like pre-pregnancy (and normal people ) I just started doing one huge, loud hiccup about twice a day. Went back to normal after labour.

Very strange

fishandlilacs the thought of a mad pregnant lady licking a lime green car as if it's a tasty citrus lolly really made me laugh
