Good luck OP. Even if you do stay together I would have a chat with a solicitor.

I used to work for a mortgage broker.

If you have a paper trail of the money, then you should be entitled to a share in the property, in proportion to what you contributed. Get legal advice asap on this. It needs clearing up whether you stay together or not. You should never have to write off that amount of money (heck, you shouldn't have to write off a fiver), so getting legal advice is important. Go to citizens advice first of all, they should be able to put you in the right direction.

Why did you not get put on the mortgage in the first place? If it was affordability, then there should have been a way especially as he's obviously managed it without your income anyway.

Good luck with everything. I really hope you can resolve this situation into something that makes you happy. FlowersCake

OP to be honest a pregnancy in this situation would have added to your problems. I'm sorry you're disappointed but with time you'll realise it was for the best.

I would be too, I've seen many ng ones.

Let him go and try to get the money back.

Yes, I agree it is good news. Now u can get rid without any attachments. U'll meet someone else who will treat u right. A baby would just make this all the more difficult. Good luck xxx
