Anyone newly pregnant and terrified of mc?

Just discovered I'm preggers! Very early - Im not even due on til Monday - so 4 weeks pg - but I've had 3 days of increasingly darker pink lines on first response. I kind of knew I was pregnant 2 weeks ago if yiu can believe it. Got that tiredness that you can't shake even by sleeping and nausea and diarreah bloatedness gas and sobbing reading the papers. I have one DS and I had all that with him but much much later. That's all stopped now and I just have mild af feelings. Not cramps just that lower abdominal mild ache. With DS I had implantation bleeding though and I havent this time which makes me worried that it hasn't burrowed in far enough and won't stick! Also convinced I got preg too easily again and it won't last. Everyone I speak to seems to have had either a mc or chemical preg. Convinced I will too. Am 39 too x

Blonde - I so hope the bleeding has stopped now. Seems pretty rubbish to leave you in limbo over the weekend. Really hope you have good news on Monday - will keep my fingers crossed for you.

So sorry to hear your update Casiopeia. Do look after yourself over the next weeks and months...

I had a mmc at 12 weeks in March and am currently 6+3. Got an early scan booked for reassurance that the same thing isn't happening again but it's still 2.5 weeks away. It feels like an absolute age away. I'm finding the combination of not knowing whether things are currently progressing as they should combined with all the nausea really hard to deal with.

Keeping my fingers crossed for healthy pregnancies for us all...

whatlifestylechoice have an emergancy scan booked for weds. Still spotting but not a lot and stomach pains have stopped but I have constant lower back pain which is also a symptom. Praying but losing hope how about yourself? Ps I'm new so not so good with the pregnancy slang lol

Oh Blonde, I have everything crossed for you. I really hope Wednesday brings good news.

I got my blood test today and my hcg levels are normal for this early in pregnancy so that's tentative good news.

Hi - I can totally relate to fears of miscarrying. Just got a ( early, before AF and faint line of first response) Bfp. So scared. Had a chemical last month a Bfp lasted only 5 days. Had a stillbirth in 3rd trimester earlier this year and a history of taking years to get a Bfp ( 2 in two months makes me think neither will stick - have implantation/immune issues so may have had this issue before dc1 and not known as did not test). Am 39 ( just!)

Hope early scans and tests go well for everyone.

Just to let everyone know my scan went well everything looks normal and how it should and even seen a flicker of its heart beat gotta go back in two weeks just to check progress but things are looking good. Thanks everyone for all your kind words x

Thank Goodness for this thread! I am 5weeks + 5 days and petrified. No symptoms whatsoever other than bloating after eating. I seem to be bleeding after sex - anyone had this? All 5 HPT show positive - CB digi states 3+ weeks.

Great news Blonde. What did they date you as? Thanks - am hoping something good will happen as cannot manage 3 losses in a year. Thanks Zippy.

I may ask for an early scan if get to 5 weeks ( but NHS refused with our 2nd baby despite being under Fetal medicine - well until things went wrong then scanned every 2 days, so am really scared of scans now!)

Roobios you should be given an early scan due to your history. Maybe get into see gp for a chat and to get the ball rolling.

Due to stillbirth I know I can phone Fetal medicine - still not had my "review" after birth session with the consultant. But as stupid as it sounds I am scared. Scared of early mc, scared of the baby having the same condition and losing the baby if get past first trimester.

CB Digital said not pregnant this am, but IC had faint line on it and FRER yesterday had a pink line. Think I need to go shopping for more tests today, then tell dh if it gets to Thu/Fri? Never not told dh but did no tell him about chemical last month because of what we have gone through. If I can get past date in cycle I did last month that would be a good first step ( so 4 days to go holding my breath!)

I have started the steroids, progesterone pessaries and clexane injections as saw gp yesterday ( she said come back in 2 weeks as too early).

Sorry did not want to be negative on the thread!!

I am relieved thanks everyone. They dated me as around 6 weeks and have another scan in two weeks just too check if everything is still running smoothly but bleeding has completly stopped now and getting the dreaded morning sickness so all is good x

How's everyone feeling? I'm exhausted with 24/7 nausea!! I'm too tired to worry like I was a few weeks ago! Finally got my scan date- 11th August. So looking to that now and keeping fingers crossed that all will be ok.

Hi ladies can I join you for some support please? I'm currently 6+3 with #2 after 27 months of trying to get here. Never miscarried before but I think my anxiety stems from my sister whose had several miscarriages and an ectopic (although still has 2 lovely dd's). I just kind of keep thinking that it's bound to happen to me as its happened to her so much, as ridiculous as that sounds. I'm constantly checking and analysing every little twinge and generally driving myself insane! Arrgghhh!

I am still going crazy...4 days till first scan and keep convincing myself there will be no heartbeat. Honestly don't know what's wrong with me, just worrying constantly!!
Hope everyone else is managing to cling to a little sanity whilst getting through these early days! Xx
