Just discovered I'm preggers! Very early - Im not even due on til Monday - so 4 weeks pg - but I've had 3 days of increasingly darker pink lines on first response. I kind of knew I was pregnant 2 weeks ago if yiu can believe it. Got that tiredness that you can't shake even by sleeping and nausea and diarreah bloatedness gas and sobbing reading the papers. I have one DS and I had all that with him but much much later. That's all stopped now and I just have mild af feelings. Not cramps just that lower abdominal mild ache. With DS I had implantation bleeding though and I havent this time which makes me worried that it hasn't burrowed in far enough and won't stick! Also convinced I got preg too easily again and it won't last. Everyone I speak to seems to have had either a mc or chemical preg. Convinced I will too. Am 39 too Shock x

putneymummy1 thank you for your kind words, unfortunately after a second scan at 8weeks we were told the baby's heart stopped beating at 6+6, a MMC. Hopefully everyone else on this thread gets their good news, we had enough negatives! Cake

Casiopia that's just so shite. I'm so sorry for your loss. Hang in there.

CrispsAndChoc · 07/07/2015 08:27

Sorry to hear that Casiopeia. This is my third pregnancy after two miscarriages. I haven't let myself believe that it might be ok yet and I'm on constant knicker surveillance too. I'm 8 weeks now and we decided not to have an early scan this time because last time was horrible when we went. Only four more weeks until the 12 week scan-I'm counting down the days. Every little niggle and pain makes me fear the worst and it's all I think about.

KatyK1980 · 07/07/2015 08:32

Congrats to all of you!
I'm around 9 weeks (I came off the pill 9 weeks ago and got a BFP 5 weeks later!).I'm 35 and already have a 13 year old daughter!
I'm totally paranoid though that something will be wrong. Half the time I convince myself that I'm not even pregnant and that the five positive tests were caused by a horrible medical condition, and the rest of the time I'm convinced I'll either miscarry or there will be something wrong with the baby! I have my first scan in 3 weeks and I'm counting down the days till I can know what's going on!!
I hate these early uncertain days!

KatyK1980 · 07/07/2015 08:34

So sorry Casiopeia. Posted my last message before I saw your sad news :-( x

patienceisvirtuous · 07/07/2015 08:46

Me too :(

Third pg in last twelve months. 37yo. No dc yet. Terrified I will mc again.

Am currently 9+4. However, had early scan at 7+1 which put me back by over a week :( so I have been convinced we will have mmc. Due to a hol (go this weekend) I am not having another scan until 12 weeks (unless something awful happens before or during holiday).

I am trying to prep for worst and hope for best. So stressful though. DP so optimistic which kind of makes things worse - don't want him to get hurt again.

Anyway. Fingers X.

Good luck all x

patienceisvirtuous · 07/07/2015 08:47

Sorry for your sad news casiopeia :(

warriorbot · 07/07/2015 11:37

I'm so sorry to hear that, Casiopeia. Be gentle with yourself. Is there a good friend/family member you've told?

Blonde123 · 09/07/2015 11:28

Hi im in the same kind of situation. I found out I was pregnant about a week ago and have a docs ap for Monday. I am around 5 weeks and have been having period like pains. Also this morning had light blood when I wiped (sorry tmi). I have read this is normal at 5 weeks but also read I should be worried.!! Anyone in the same boat or have any advice pls

whatlifestylechoice · 09/07/2015 11:40

Hi Blonde, have no advice I'm afraid, but in a similar boat. Found out I was pregnant yesterday from a home test, 13dpo after my second cycle of ICSI. First one was unsuccessful. I have to have a blood test on Monday to confirm.

I had a MMC last year - no heartbeat at 6w scan.

I am terrified. This morning DP cut himself and shouted really loudly, which startled me. I immediately felt a pain in my stomach and went to lie down, whilst googling symtons of chemical pregnancy. The pain is gone now, but FFS...the crazy has obviously started already.

Shall we hold hands and keep fingers crossed for each other until Monday?

Blonde123 · 09/07/2015 12:20

Hi whatlifestylechoice yes let's please hold hands lol Smile it's just the waiting that's getting to me will keep you updated and you do so too x

CarrotVan · 09/07/2015 13:06

Putney! we missed this on the July bus. So pleased for you.

Luckygirlcharlie · 09/07/2015 15:11

Hi guys. Putney here. Sorry - quick name change as was at risk of being outed to DH by him reading over my shoulder! Just in case curiosity gets the better of him!

Holding everyone's hand and crossing everything for all of us. Keep us posted. Xx

Carrot hi! Yes I was still lurking but I wanted to hide behind someone else's bfp to announce mine as I felt like a phony member having only just got on the bus! Will pop back and say hi but didn't want to be a douche! X

Embolio · 09/07/2015 20:20

Why is time crawling so slowly? I will be 5 weeks tomorrow, it seems like an actual eternity since I got my bfp on Sunday and yet it is only 4 days. How is this possible??

Thank you for your kind words ladies and I wish you truly all the best and only the loveliest news. After erpc yesteday, we are staring a new chapter today, perhaps more positive one as now we are on the nhs investigations list too.

I may be off to a different forum topic for now, but will occasionally pop in to share in your good news! Stay positive and spoil yourself as much as you can (i know it's a bit tricky to do so between all the nausea and getting up to pee 4 times a night Wink) x Flowers

Blonde123 · 10/07/2015 09:17

Hi ladies me again. This morning I woke up and had I'd say two 5p worth amount of blood in my knickers and I'm starting to panic Sad my ap not till Monday which is my first with the doctor. I'm so scared

zippyswife · 10/07/2015 10:09

Cassiopeia- thinking of you. Wishing all the luck.

Blonde- can you call your early pregnanxy unit at your local hospital or get a gp appointment for today- explain to receptionist. SIL and RL best friend both bled in early pregnancy. They both had successful pregnancies and have beautiful babies now. The bleeding is probably nothing- it doesn't sound like a lot. However I am a worrier by nature and would probably try to get seen by gp and referal to early pregnancy unit for a scam to reassure. Are you in any pain?

Blonde123 · 10/07/2015 12:47

I have rang and can't get seen till Monday unless the bleeding gets really bad then I can go to a and e. I have been having mild pains like period pains on and off not terrible though. Suppose I have to wait till Monday and hope for the best zippyswife

zippyswife · 10/07/2015 13:01

Fingers crossed for you. Try to stay away from Google but know that plenty of people bleed in pregnancy and go on to have healthy pregnancies/babies. Flowers

Lovelyjubbly95 · 10/07/2015 21:00

Hi can i join? Newly pregnant with my second child but dp first. My ds is 8. Had a mc at 6wks in feb after ttc for 18mths and we have jst fallen again and im now 5wks...and feeling relaxed but edgey at the same time!

Ahhhcantthinkofagoodname · 10/07/2015 21:47

Hello everyone esp all fellow stress heads who are 5 weeks too!

Blonde - sorry to hear about the recent spotting. I had spotting at about 3 weeks and then at what I think was 4+2. GP was actually a bit of a cow, probably because I was begging for progesterone pessaries or at least a blood test to check my hormone levels - she clearly thought I was completely neurotic. She said most miscarriages are inevitable and although it's a bitter pill to swallow if it happens it happens and you just have to try again. She refused to refer me to EPU on the grounds it was likely implantation or breakthrough bleeding which are very common and said there would be nothing to see yet on a scan in any case. It was a horrible at the time and I was in floods of tears but I actually have been calmer since then. I get that things are out of my control. I'm sure this zen state won't last long, I'll start stressing about lack of pregnancy symptoms or something or I'll crack and do another test and the line won't be as dark as I want it to be...

I so hope any bleeding stops soon or you are able to be reassured things are ok. Take care all

Paperblank · 10/07/2015 22:22

blonde hope you are okay Thanks
FX for you x
