If you have a DS and DD - differences in pregnancies?

Just wondering really. Had no morning sickness and easy pregnancy with DS. This time round morning sickness, food aversions, exhaustion and generally feeling shite. People keep saying ooh must be a girl then. Not that I am hoping or anything.... :D

I've got a DS and 38 weeks preg with DD, so far my pregnancies have been all but identical (slighly worse SPD with DD but thats prob becasue DS wasn't walking until a couple of months ago).

No morning sickness with either, mild heart beurn with both, feeling OK generally but no (mythical!) glow, no real cravings with either, both laying in the exact same position, similar sizes at the 35 weeks scans, etc.

Completely different pregnancies. DS was an easy pregnancy, no morning sickness and everything perfect.

DD: had horrible morning sickness until about 16 weeks and all manner of pains, hospital trips and all sorts.

Not sure if it was gender related or because it was number 2 so I started off more tired

First two pregnancies very similar, very easy, both DDs. Third pregnancy totally different, didn't enjoy it all. Everyone said ooh must be a boy this time - DD3

Mine were completely different.

Dd- signed off of work for the first 6 months due to extreme hyperemesis, in and out of hospital due to dehydration. Couldn't smell anything without being sick. Last 3 months I couldn't get food into my mouth fast enough- mainly chicken nuggets and frozen waffles.

Ds- no sickness, felt sick for 3 days max, craved healthy food

They had the same birth weight!

Absolutely no difference in mine. Pregnancy 2 (DS) was identical to pregnancy 1 (DD), so much so that I was convinced I was having another girl. In both pregnancies I had severe morning sickness (HG), lost weight and was hospitalised numerous times.

Popped 10 days over due was DD, hard labour, completely stuck then ventouse when baby was in distress with merconium. Induced 14 days overdue with DS, hard labour, completely stuck then forceps when baby was in distress.

I have 4 dds and then a ds, all of mine were slightly different but the boy was more so. I felt sick up till about 30 weeks whilst with the girls I either had no sickness or it was gone by 10 weeks.

With the girls I craved sugar and ate like a pig. Boy no appetite till past 20 weeks and then I wanted stodge and developed a thing for pastry which I hate.

My bumps are always small and neat, this bump was bigger and much more out front but then it was my 5th so I have no belly muscles left!

No differences really. I had hyperemesis with both but it wasn't as extreme second time round and I was only in hospital a couple of times rather than loads of times.

I had a DD first, had awful hyperemisis was hospitalised twice and off work for about 10 weeks. Was terrible.

Am currently pregnant with a DS and I have been sick through out this pregnancy as well but nothing as severe as with my DD, but I have been absolutely exhausted (not sure if that is because I have a toddler to look after) and have put on so much weight it's ridiculous - and not from eating bad - I have no idea where it has come from.

For me just at the beginning. With DD I felt sick 24/7 and was actually sick alot but with DS I just felt sick I never threw up once.
9+3 with DC3 and currently being very sick which makes me think possible girl? We'll see....

I'm 22 weeks pregnant with a girl - I threw up at least three times a day from 6 weeks to 14 weeks. Now have terrible heartburn and headaches.
Ihad no sickness with my DS (3). My pregnancy was so easy with him that I didn't even realise I was pregnant until I was 12 weeks and then breezed through it.

My skin is also worse this time - I have spots on my chin! Nothing like that with my son.

My pregnancies on both were the same except I put on less weight with DD.

Have a friend who was really sick second time around, very different to her first and she has 3 boys now!

No real differences for me. Bump shapes were different though, DS was sort of wide and round, DD was a much neater bump.

Mine were different - with ds I had hyperemisis until 16 weeks, and then could only face apples and salads. I bloomed in the late second/third trimester and managed to clean the house top to bottom during a mad nesting stage
With dd I had hyperemisis until 26 weeks (hospitalised by 6 weeks), and felt ill and exhausted the whole way through. In the last trimester I craved chocolate and sweets, and never bloomed. No nesting either - didn't have the energy!
Also, my bump with ds was high in front and dd was much much lower. My skin was much better when I was pregnant with ds, I looked awful when expecting dd.

I've had 3girls and 1 boy (currently preg with 2nd boy) and I've found that I feel worse carrying boys, and I fart n burp more! And also very Low Libido, not that DP cares as he has his PS4 now every evening to play with!

DS awful morning sickness till 12 week hospitalised on drips as I was horrendously sick practically 24/7. Then horrific heartburn. DD perfect pregnancy no morning sickness nothing

I dont have a DD, I do have 3 DS though and carrying my 4th ds I can honestly say each pregnancy has been totally different. My second son I was so sick I ended up underweight at my 3 month check the thought and smell of food was just awful. And this time ive a face full of spots and awfuly moody and emotional. First pregnancy was fine no sickness no nothing really, just a nice 4st weight gain lol.

Same as you - nothing with DS; nauseous, can't stand food smells, weird cravings, tired etc with this one and everybody keeps saying it's a girl. My mum had similar different pregnancies though and had 2 girls.

There is a study that in case of hyperemesis, you are slightly more likely to have a girl - but it's only 56%, compared to normal 49. So unfortunately I don't think you can predict gender by how you feel.

With DS I had morning sickness for the first 5 months, bad rib pain and ended up in hospital with pre eclampsia. My pregnancy with DD was a total breeze!

DS and DD pregnancies were pretty much identical.

I had more headaches with DS, but the sickness was exactly the same and even finished at the same time.

I did 'look' different with DD, but that was probably because she was the 2nd pregnancy.

I am pregnant with DC3 and this time I have been much sicker, feeling much more nausea, had far more cravings and generally felt rougher.
I am 11+4 and have no idea what sex this baby is!

I should say that with DS I didn't have any signs of pre-eclampsia until in labour when I had eclamptic fits, but with DD I showed strong signs from 26 weeks and was treated with medication until it became a risk then had her by C-section at 38 weeks.
