new idea for an old wives' tale. did you go off tea when pregnant? did you have a girl?

so, from my entirely representative group of 6 members of my family and some friends, the people who went off tea in pregnancy all had girls.

any exceptions to this?

I went off coffee in all pregnancies (tea was OK). Had 3 boys and 1 girl.

went off tea and coffee in both pregnancies although just about leant to tolerate weak tea for social reasons (most places don't stock lucozade )

Yes off tea, no not a girl. I thought it was "normal" to go off caffeine when pregnant regardless of gender of baby?

LOVED the smell of teabags when pg with both DSs. Carried one with me when pg with DS1 (Over that sort of nonsense when pg with DS2...)

gone off coffee on to tea but no idea what im having (hospital wouldnt tell us) so will have to wait and see!
