Yes! Happy Birthday to me indeed! Fanks for all the Cake I would say 'nom-nom' and 'it was awesome!' but I would have to stab myself for being an irritating twat. I digress..

Come here, ladies who have survived IVF and are now battling the first trimester nerves and scans. We did it...we did it!! Grin

Morning Beetle. I think it's the last day of summer here, going to be 30 degrees in sunny Essex. Then dropping down to 15 and heavy rain tomorrow Grin

I'm not taking the tablets. The GP wanted me to try and stay off them if I could. She thinks rest is the best medicine, so rests have been taking Grin. The on,y time I want to eat solids is in the evening. Though I may try some soup for lunch.

I did get chicken balls. They were amazing. Beyond amazing. But the trout of them today makes me feel queasy!! But DH went and got me some petits filous last night, as I've been banging on about them Grin

How are you feeling lovely?

Caip comeback and let's know you're ok lovely.

And Nooky, where on earth are you?

Drinking pomegranate and grape juice as we speak Beetle! I hope this passes soon. I'm just so tired.

I had a bit of black Crinone after I cut myself with an applicator. It won't be blocking a bleed, I just think any blood gets caught up in it and makes it look worse. I've only got a few more days on the stuff, and I can't wait to be shot of it!

I too hate being harassed. Some people just don't get the hint to they?

I'm completely fine, thanks everyone. Was odd, one pink wipe, and nothing else. I'm still on pessaries and the oral tablets (can't remember what they are, other than HRT!) Until week 10 so another 2 and a half weeks to go.
I was very close to my first vomit yesterday and was pacing in the bathroom but it went, felt shifty all day though.
I read about your lucozade Maybe and so bought some but I've realised bubbles aren't doing me any favours and they make me burp and that makes me feel sick. I have just decided that I am definitely going to get a sandwich toaster at the weekend as a toasted cheese and ham sandwich sounds heavenly!

Are any of you wearing maternity or bigger clothes? I'm struggling with some if my clothes as they cut just under my ribs where I'm bloated and it's so uncomfortable

X

So pleased you're ok Caip. Always terrifying to see a bit of blood, but normally it's just fine Smile

I find bubbles the best thing for me at the moment, though have totally gone off lemonade.

I have been dreaming about toasted sandwiches. Cheese and beans. Even though I don't like beans Hmm. I need a breville!!

I'm in maternity jeans, have been since week 8. I was so bloated then, and now the bloating has gone, it's been replaced with a slight bump. I also found the skin on my tummy is super sensitive, and I can't stand tight waistbands. Especially when you're sitting all day, comfort is a must.

Cutie, you have, indeed, got your dates mixed up; it is next Thursday she visits Smile How are you feeling, lovely? What's for tea in your South African gaff tonight? Why the recruitment harassment? Are you looking for another job?

Marbie...awwwww!

pram if you feel you want to find out the sex, why not? DH and I are at odds with this - he wants to know, and I don't. I'd prefer a surprise. He hates the idea of the information being available but him not having it. We haven't yet decided who will have their way!

Hi caip - glad all is well with you. I'm not in maternity clothes, and resolutely refuse to believe I could have a bump at just 12 weeks, but let's just say I am bloated, and where my tummy used to be concave, it is now rather convex! I am much preferring to wear loose clothes. I wore some spanx the other day to work, and regretted it terribly! A onesy must be the way forward..

Hi maybe and beetle Smile

Where is nook?

PramQueen1971 · 05/09/2013 17:50

Motor, I, too, fancy the surprise element, but we all know it is the midwife who scream like a fucking banshee: 'It's a boy!/It's a girl!' Why should she get to shriek about the sex before even th'usband gets to look?

It is evident to me that Nook has run away with a black man..

pram I think you can state in your birth plan that you want your husband to be the one who tells you what the sex is.

Report
NoMaybeAboutIt · 05/09/2013 19:16

Motor could we also request a nice glass of red and some pâté on toast for a post birth snack? Wink

I too don't look like I've got a proper bump. My tummy is just far from flat like it used to be. I've taken a photo every week, and when I compared post transfer photo with this weeks, it's crazy!!

PramQueen1971 · 05/09/2013 22:35

Motor, the only thing in my birth plan will be an instruction to shave the baby's head if it comes out ginger. Also, the midwife must make sure her head is never in the way of the telly. English must be her first language. Th'usband must not touch me, stroke me, kiss me, eat my food or go for a fag. The midwife must not be Welsh, Irish, Scottish or from Birmingham and must not shriek or command my sphincter to do things it doesn't want to do Grin
