Yes! Happy Birthday to me indeed! Fanks for all the Cake I would say 'nom-nom' and 'it was awesome!' but I would have to stab myself for being an irritating twat. I digress..

Come here, ladies who have survived IVF and are now battling the first trimester nerves and scans. We did it...we did it!! Grin

Beetle you'll have all sorts of crazy bloating going on at the moment. My tummy went a weird shape for a bit. But you'll soon be popping out!

When's your next scan?

I hope these meds work. I haven't felt too sick today. Still no appetite, but I can't have everything!! Only downside is they have a massive sedative effect, so I'm more tired than normal! I am off work still, have been signed off till the end of next week, then I have a weeks holiday booked. So hoping I will be fit as a fiddle by then!

Prambo2TheRevenge · 02/10/2013 00:48

Maybs, I really am hoping these meds work for you, chicken x

Beetle, warm & fuzzy you say? You leaking piss already? Grin

Wim, sorry you're feeling rough too. It will pass, I promise. I, too, was nervous about my 12 wk scan (at 13+5!) but you'll be overjoyed. I'm not feeling any movements whatsoever yet and I'm 18+3. I have heard the heartbeat today again though, so am unperturbed.

I've put some photos on my profile page if you're interested..I love my bump! Smile

NoMaybeAboutIt · 02/10/2013 10:26

Thanks PramboImHereToLayAPatio. I don't want to jinx myself, but I think they are helping already. Yes, they make me so tired all I can do is sleep, but I'm not feeling all that nauseous....

I too love your bump. It's what I aspire to Wink

Prambo2TheRevenge · 02/10/2013 11:43

NomaybeAboutItImACaravanDwellerFromTheEmeraldIsle, tentative hooray! for the new meds Smile

CapeTownCutiePie, everything will be okay..you're going to be a mummy to twins! Can you fucking believe it?? Heartburn's rubbish, although I only get mild little episodes. Thank you for lying saying my bump's nice. Don't you think it's absurdly big for 18 wks? It's my 20 week scan on Wednesday next week (at 19+4). Please don't worry, Beetle, all will be well with your little treasures x

NoMaybeAboutIt · 03/10/2013 11:13

Beetle all will be brilliant at your scan. You'll be amazed how much they have grown!!

I am gladly lapping up the drowsiness, makes a change to getting up every hour in the night Wink

MotorcycleMama · 03/10/2013 16:44

Pleased to hear the ondansetron is working for you maybe. It's very unfortunate for you to be so sick for so long. I quite like medication drowsiness - benylin is the nearest I get to taking mind bending drugs nowadays!

All will be great with your scan beetle - can't wait to hear the report. I was totally terrified before mine.

Lovely pic of your bump pram - mine's tiny but there, and sometimes pretty big at the end of the day.

12 week scan tomorrow wim - that seems to have flown by! I know the feeling of jinxing things, but really, everything will be fine.

I just returned from mw appointment and all was well. Heartbeat located instantly, and going strong. I had got myself in such a pickle in the last few days that I now need to have a long soak and do some relaxation exercises to get back on an even keel. Love to all. X

NoMaybeAboutIt · 03/10/2013 17:50

So pleased it went well Motor Smile

I'm not on ondansetron, I've got promethazine. Hence the ridiculous tiredness. But but is so nice! It's the best sleep Grin

Now go and enjoy your bath x

Oh that's great news Beetle I haven't popped back for a few days, I will go and look.

No, appetite hasn't returned yet, but all in good time!

Can't wait to hear your news on Monday!

prambo2thereturn · 04/10/2013 12:27

I've stopped lurking 'cos they don't acknowledge my posts any more. I guess they don't want advice or encouragement from a preggo or summat.

prambo2thereturn · 04/10/2013 12:27

..which is furry muff.

I think I agree Pram they don't always want advice. Which is fair enough. I just want to tell them there is no rhyme or reason to any of this Sad. But at least there will be some more joining us soon Smile

Wimwom · 04/10/2013 14:21

Is there fresh meat coming?! How exciting! I lurk sometimes (let's face it I'm a lurker) but haven't been in for a few days. Some lovely ladies there who I hope join us soon.

marb I may have to ask for some of what you're on - drowsy sounds great right now.

pram I can't make photo work - but am sure I would be in awe of bump, are you doing the preggo walk with one hand splayed on it yet?

beetle I am envious of you feeling fine - don't knock it! I don't think any of these symptoms mean much, am looking forward to hearing all's fine with both your little ones on mon. You had one egg back didn't you? Sorry - brain is mushy.

motor excellent news - did you get your long soak and relaxation? I had to lie down after my scan today as just needed some quiet time. I'm becoming an old woman.

Scan was all fine - bit underwhelming compared to the others which I think was due to the sonographer just being super business like. Also I think the little one was fast asleep as just very still, she made me do lots of moving around during the scan to try to get it to move - but it just was too comfy. I think it's not an early morning baby - lets hope so! But all normal - phew. Now emailing various people I have been avoiding for a few weeks as been waiting for the scan before telling people other than family and Bessie mate.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 04/10/2013 14:35

Ah, great news Wim!! That's good you've got a nice comfy one in there. Mines up to all sorts of acrobatics Hmm

The drowsiness is crazy. I honestly think I'd sleep all day if I let myself!!

Enjoy spreading your good news x

prambo2thereturn · 05/10/2013 00:01

Motor, great news about your MW appointment. The heartbeat is just amazing, isn't it?

Wimwom, you'll be able to see my pics now. I do love my bump, Beetle, I really do. It's all I've ever wanted Smile

wim great news on your scan. Don't worry, as soon as you're not looking, he's somersaulting away! Mine was a bit quiet for the 12 week one too, but all fine.

beetle I just had a mw appt, not a scan, but thanks, yes, all was fine. Not long til yours now!
