From all day every day sickness, to pain in your back, pelvis, hips, to heartburn and acid reflux. Who says pregnancy is the most magical time of your life? And hearing how well everything's going with everyone else's pregnancies is NOT HELPING! Looking for fellow moaners to tell me how much their pregnancy has sucked and how they wished they'd got help sooner rather than struggled along.

I like this thread - simply because although I am ecstatic to be finally pregnant, the whole process of pregnancy quite frankly isn't something I'm enjoying - rather feels like I am enduring it at the moment.

I like who said that its a 'means to an end' which is the family that me and DP would like to have. If I could skip the next 2/3 years then I would but I realise its something I have to deal with!

Mum knows I'm pregnant and happily told me how she sailed through pregnancy, was never sick, and wore her normal clothes right up to the last month. Given that I'm a mini-me version of her in so many ways I am gutted that this part of her genes has not been passed onto me - so I am constantly nauseous, already can feel my clothes tightening (am somewhere between 7 and 9 weeks) and have turned into a zombie that just goes to work and the rest of the time is conked out asleep on the sofa because I'm shattered.

I am 37 weeks and I have not enjoyed a single moment to be honest. Was admitted to hospital with HG for the first time at only 5 weeks and am still throwing up now; have also been on crutches with severe SPD for the past two months. Cannot wait for it to be over! To be honest I don't always enjoy the baby moving, sometimes I do, sometimes it just feels uncomfortable and invasive. It's quite difficult to talk about such negative feelings while pregnant but I don't think it's surprising to have them, especially if you have a terrible pregnancy with a first baby.

Also, I feel so fat!! With my first pregnancy I hardly started to show until about 13 weeks. I had one of those neat 'football under your shirt'-bumps for pretty much the whole pregnancy. But now I'm hardly 9 weeks and my jeans already no longer fit!! Bahh. You don't think it's twins right?

Yep my friend had twins after a previous still birth at 7 months. She was on full bed rest for 5 and a half months. That sucks without a shadow of a doubt and I wish her every happiness for the future

I didn't enjoy the kicks with no 1, they HURT! they really really hurt! even from quite early!

I learnt quickly not to say that in real life as I was "accused" of antenatal depression and psycosis towards my unborn child Hmm, neither was true, the kicks were just really sharp and sore! never pleasant! I'm pregnant again and this time get to experience the softer nice kicks which are totally different, I genuinely did not get to feel those with no1. No1 is still all elbows and knees years later! if he ever has to bed share with us we end up black and blue (he's not deliberately rough, just really fidgettey and elbowey)

Glad I'm not alone fed up with feeling cap all the time
