Bright red blood loss, 13 weeks, please hold my hand

I don't know where to begin, and even
As I type this I have tears of sadness and exhaustion welling up in my eyes.

I started bleeding yesterday morning. Im 13 weeks.
I went in to hospital today who have given me a scan for thursday. The doctor said its likely to be a miscarriage.
Oh it's been a stressful pregnancy to say the least. Everyone told me to take it easy, and I thought I was invincible.
Now look what I've gone and done.

This baby was supposed to be a bouncing, happy healthy little babe. DD thinks she's
Getting a baby brother or sister when the
snow comes. Oh it will break her little heart.

Just looking for a hand to hold to get me through this horrid night.

I'm in the waiting room.

Everyone's well wishes brought tears to my tired eyes.

I will focus on the ceiling.

Oh I've sat in that waiting room. Probably not that waiting room but one very similar I imagine. Probably the hum of a computer, ringing phones and people talking quietly and you sit very, very still because you're wound that tightly you think if you move you might snap or scream or sob.

I'm thinking of you too.

I had a very large bleed at 11 weeks and was absolutely positive it was a miscarriage I cried and cried and avoided going to the doc for lots of reasons... she's 9m old now...
Doctor said that very often bleeds (even big ones) can be caused by the uterus expanding and blood vessels breaking.

Hopefully the scan finds all is well for you. lots of hugs one way or another from a complete stranger xx

I've been in a similar waiting room too, as I'm sure others on here have too. I can't add a happy story in my case, but there are good outcomes so fx for you.

I've just had the scan and all was well! The baby was bouncing around with it's arms
On its head, and it's legs crossed ....

They said we can't find the cause of the bleeding, everything Seemed fine !

I just came home and showed DD the scan pictures, and she was amazed
