23 + 3 & worried

Hiya I'm 23 + 3 weeks with my first - usually a very active little boy, however I havn't felt any kicks for two days - this is the third.
Starting to worry, I'm due to see my midwife next week for my 24 week check - should I be making an appointment for tomorrow to make sure everything is ok?

Thanks Hayley x

Blinking Phone! Coke and marsbars allways worked with mine, let us know how you get on and go straight back if you have any more worrys, they realy shouldn't make you wait so long even if just for your peace of mind

Lol G back to you as well Smile
Yeah I opted for coke - drank quite a bit ended up feel bloated a bit sick and like my teeth were going to fall out lol it didn't work for movements. But and I hope I wasn't dreaming I woke up last night and think I felt him liking about, although today iv had nothing again except a few flutters when I was in the train at 7.30 on the way to work (that always gets him going) still waiting on some big kicks. Wish I got a scan yesterday, my minds not at ease just knowing he has a strong HB. Hopefully he's just taking after his daddy & has decided to take the week off to sleep and do not much else!

Don't know if this will make you feel better but my baby has never formed any sort of movement patterns like he's ment to literally no 2 days are the same for him i'm 37 weeks now and he's still totally random yesterday i only got 1 or 2 kicks an hour today i've counted up to 20 an hour except 4 hours straight this afternoon with nothing, when i was 23 weeks i could go for a few days with not much or anything was assessed and they said it was just because he turns backward a lot.

I spent weeks terrified because everyone kept saying the baby should have a routine and do the same things around the same time every day but mine just seems to do as he pleases with no thought for his poor mummys nerves!!

Hi hayley,

Hope all went well yesterday xx

justhayley · 07/01/2012 11:24

Hi everyone, good news everything is good with baby Grin I had the scan & as soon as they put the jelly on he started kicking like never before! They said it was probably positioning why I hadn't felt movements for a few days. All his measurements were fine - he's not smaller than he should be Grin they said if he was unwell earlier on in the week he is fine now! Thank you for all your support, really appreciate it xxx
