First of all I want to appologise for the numerous threads about me being so scared about having a csection!

I'm 36 weeks with identical twins and having a csection this Wednesday (21st dec)
This is my biggest fear for many reasson, I'm scared of the operation, something awful happening and just many many many things!

I have 3 children already all by VB so this is all new.

So i have 3 days till what I have been dreading is going to be happening, an strangely enough I feel ok and counting down the hours till I can get there and have our babies.

It's very strange and I'm thinking it will all come out on the day and I will proberly have a nervous break down!

Inherent web able to get excite about the babies as it feels there is this big hurdle I have to face first!!!

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Firstly big congrats!! Lovely names x
Wind is normal, can feel bloody awful and will slowly release. (probably tomorrow and you can be trumping mummy for this Xmas)
Now stop worrying about your scar/tummy. It's takes a few days for it go down and then a while for all the muscles, nerves and what nots to sort themselves out. Pleas don't fret.
Enjoy Christmas with your brood.
Lots of love from us x

It is just awful looking like a massive sag of skin that hangs :(

I know I shouldn't worry but I keep thinking my skin is hanging over the scar and it won't heal.

Gosh I usually don't care afte I have babies but I have never had this before.

Oh yay! Your Rosie and Holly are home!
Give them a big Xmas snuggle form me!
Would love to help re: scar, but can't. I'm sure as long as it's kept dry you'll be fine though.

Would some kind of bump band help? It could keep everything strapped down a bit... I got given a tubular bandage for my PGP and am planning to use it post-birth to stop my belly flapping around.

Other than that as long as the wound is kept clean and dry I don't think it will be too much of an issue. Congratulations on getting your girls home for Christmas xxx

Katy all the very best for you and your little girls, congratulations on being home so quickly. Hope you had a lovely Christmas all together, and all the best for a rapid recovery for you and for them to go from strength to strength!

Congratulations, don't worry about the scar, always looks worse first off, couple of weeks down the line you'll feel much better about it x
