Moan alert:

I am fed up of:
Fat feet,
heartburn,
double chin,
feeling sick,
piles,
mahoosive boobs and belly,
stretch marks (they hurt),
being out of breath,
stuffy nose,
snoring (mine not DH),
general grumpyness (mine not DH)

Due on the 8th November - if I go overdue the latest date for induction would be the 21st November (that is one whole month)

Not only that it has just dawned on me that I will have to actually go through childbirth and will my body ever go back to some sort of normality?

I can't wait to meet my DD and see her little face for the first time, but I am bricking it!!

im 37 weeks today and have had enough! cant sleep, uncomfortable all the time, the size of a house and lots of braxton hicks! But now im 37 weeks im on a mission to try and get bump to want to come out.

BabyAcorn · 28/10/2011 11:22

I have now been getting quite soar pains lower tummy, almost period pains, sharp , almost like ive done to many sit ups?!?!And last until i sit down. Baxton Hics make my tummy rock solid so dont think it's that.

Any one else having this, do you all walk around holding bump too?

nickelbabe · 28/10/2011 11:27

it's your body telling you to sit down! Grin

It sounds like nothing to worry about, but please ask your midwife, just in case.

roz1982 · 28/10/2011 12:15

franchini the carpal tunnel is just so weird...I can't imagine my hands and fingers not being numb anymore!! I WANT THE FEELINGS IN MY FINGERS BACK!!!!!! touching everything feels cringey and horrible!!!

DH being in bed with me at night is getting on my nerves I just want to be left alone to thrash about, cry and moan!!! I well wish we had a spare room.

Had to get up at 4am this morning and eat a banana then started worrying about having a baby!!! Not the actual birth as such, just actually having him there!! Eeeeeeek.

adewonder · 29/10/2011 19:06

I'm only 32 wks but I'm freaking myself out by feeling so rubbish already. At least I know I'm reasonably normal in this from reading mn, which is probably as normal as I'll ever be able to get. No sleep apart from during the day, and I'm at work for 2 more weeks...where the toilets are becoming my new home. Can't eat enough, as I feel sick, so get stick from oh who thinks I'm not eating because I feel fat. Everything aches, I'm bored as I can't go anywhere as I'm too tired and achy, including upstairs most of the time, and I've watched all the films that exist. Is there anything people do that make themselves feel better? I will pay money to feel better.

adewonder · 29/10/2011 20:04

And now I feel guilty for moaning, as I'm clearly very fortunate to be having a child, to be working, to have sufficient cash to buy stupid stuff on eBay and not have to do this by myself. Can't get anything right these days. Arsebum.

mumblejumble · 31/10/2011 16:10

Ah no Adewonder, don't feel guilty. Those last few weeks at work are horrid.
I am due on Wednesday, and the only thing that can console me is that Series 5 of TBBT started on Thursday.
Also have spd, and walking up and down stairs has become mountaineering. Even my 2 year old was standing next to me saying 'go go' to make me walk faster, while dh laughed and I tried to smile...
I can't wait to feel those painful contractions, bring me gas and air.....

nickelbabe · 31/10/2011 16:50

ade - if you feel sick from eating, then take the ant-acid stuff - seriously, it is indigestion even if you don't realise it - its' because the baby's getting in the way of your food system.

roz1982 · 31/10/2011 16:56

Oh gosh no don't feel guilty about feeling crap!! It's bloody hard work!

I'm 37 + 4 and I want this baby out now. had a whole heap of quite uncomfortable braxton hicks today but turned out to be nothing and really did start to get quite excited! Ho hum. Keep having episodes of real grumpiness where there's nothing actually wrong I've just had enough!!

BabyAcorn · 31/10/2011 18:01

Had the first argument with Hubby last night since being pregnant, just because we haven't been sleeping for the past 3 months. Had step son round and he slept in the bed i usually sleep in, went down stairs to try and sleep on the sofa, and hips were not liking it at all.

Totally peed off and just went crazy. I am so tired and fed up it's crazy. Breathing is like i am 100 stone , trying to sleep during the day now to compensate for lack of sleep. But fingers are so swollen and numb you cant even push yourself out or up off the sofa!

Went to after care centre Sunday and although totally knackered and could hardly walk, it was at least nice to see all the Mummies stripping off due to hot flushes, holding their bumps, looking fed up and tired . But then round the corner was what we are waiting for, a tiny 4 hour old baby.... Just for a split second all the crap went and I suddenly remembered what we crazy women were doing it all for. Then BOOM - Crying! Made me chuckle :)

nickelbabe · 01/11/2011 11:20

still not sleeping myself. Hmm
it's driving me mad. Last night, I had the worst night's sleep ever - up and down like a bloody yo-yo all night.
I think it's too hot in the bedroom, but DH won't be happy if I open the window (because I've made him sleep on that side of the bed so that it's easier for me to get in and out when I need to)
So this morning I feel quite tired. And I'm then panicking that my iron will be low i the blood test i had this morning - MW is not happy to let me have homebirth if it's low. (she won't get a choice, of course Grin )

and now I've also been told I have to take time off work before the birth. There's no chance of that (self-employed, shop, nearly christmas...), so that's given me something else to stress about (which I hadn't been until MW mentioned it)

stripeywoollenhat · 01/11/2011 11:31

35+3, feel like a horse has kicked me in the crotch, constant heartburn, and so heavy, can barely drag myself onto my feet. dd (2.10) unmoved by my discomfort for some reason.... i feel another bout of cbeebies coming on, and then i feel like a terrible parent. seriously, i am never doing this again.

(i think a good old whinge is the least that a pregnant woman deserves, given that she is precluded from self medicating with alcohol...)

dannigirl · 01/11/2011 20:50

Can I join in and whinge too.....

I am due today!! Have had a very good pregnancy (although usual tiredness etc) but am just feeling so fed up now, I want this baby out now!

Have a 3 yr old DD and that is the biggest challenge at the moment, entertaining her all day on my own - thank god she is with childminder tomorrow

Really can't complain as am sleeping well, no heartburn, having to monitor BP at home but all is fine, DH is helping out amazingly....but I still feel like wallowing in self pity and I could murder a huge glass of red!

I just can't stand the waiting......

stripey I agree I am NEVER doing this again. DH can have his number 3,4 and 5 when he can get pregnant and give birth.

whimsicalquark · 01/11/2011 21:03

I'm 38 + 1,I'm feeling very sorry for myself, last night was the worst nights sleep I have ever had. I was getting up to wee every 45 min. I cannot get comfortable no matter how I lay. The carpal tunnel syndrome that was just in my left hand has now conveniently started in my right hand as well. I dread the night times as they seem to go on for eternity and then im so tired during day that i have to keep napping which then means sleep even less at night. Argh its driving me crazy. I know I only have 2 weeks left (ive been told wont allow me to go over due to gestational diabetes ) but the thought of 2 more weeks of this makes me want to cry

roz1982 · 01/11/2011 21:08

dannigirl treat yourself, have a glass of red! Won't do any harm now. Here I'll help you along...Wine
