I like Emily Rose (and have no idea that there's a film with that name in)

Emily Kate and Emily Jane also nice.

WhenAChildIsBored · 14/12/2005 15:21

Emily Belle

LizzylouDonkey · 14/12/2005 15:22

Like Rose, we have that as a middle name should we have a girl this time...it was the name of my much-loved Great-grandmother

DoesntChristmasDragOn · 14/12/2005 15:23

Rose
Grace

Know I am biased but am mentioning 'Jaye' again as WE think it's a nice alternative-alternative to Jade or Jane.

FrostyTheRickman · 14/12/2005 15:23

Ruth

Sometimes I actually think about having another baby just so I can choose a really gorgeous name...

I like Emily Rose, not sure why.

some other great ideas here

JESSnutsRoastinOnAnOpenFire · 14/12/2005 17:02

But.. as has already been said, Emily Rose is not really do-able just now due to the current horror film that is out! (Although it's very pretty.)

rose,that's my dd name

def emily rose

PrincessPlumPuddingHead · 14/12/2005 17:21

why don't you choose a family name or a name that has some particular meaning for you rather than something out of a book? that's what I think middle names should be for. If you don't have any name that you want to use for any reason.... don't have one!

and DON'T use Grace, if I hear of another Emily Grace, Ella Grace (double aurghghghghg) or Lily Grace I will scream!

AChristmasCarolinamoon · 14/12/2005 17:39

agree with pph. Who ever uses their middle name?

It is a waste of a name you like - what if you have another ds/dd and you've already used one of your fave names on the first one?

Family middle names are a great way to flatter your parents and ILs IME. Lots of browny points to be had there .

hayls · 14/12/2005 17:44

I've got an Emily Mairi (middle name is sentimental family name but I love it). We;ve got a long surname too
