going round in circles here and would really appreciate your opinions on:

Girls: Esme or Sorrell
Boys: Floyd, Henry or Max

I like more unusual names but don't want to get the poor kid bullied at school!!!

My 9 yr old ds2 is Max (not Maximillian!) and there is only one other in his school. We love it - inspired by 'where the wild things are' by Maurice Sendak.

One of those is my ds's name! And it's not unusual (didn't want it to be, particularly) but not common either.
