10 weeks, 45 yrs old. I rang the gp and he will see me this afternoon.

Should I go to EPAU? Of course every one will tell me that all will be fine, but without a scan how do I know. First scan in 5 days. Cannot wait that long....

alliwant - thinking of you and hope today wasn't too awful.

Thanks, everyone.

The procedure was quick, thankfully though I was bawling when I went into theatre. Okay yesterday aftewards but I am very teary today. I went to get some groceries on my own today and had to breathe and breathe and breathe to stop myself crying in the shop.

It does get better, doesn't it? Sad

just take your time and let your feelings unfold. you can't put them away in a box. i never really grieved my last miscarriage - i went on holiday days later, which in some ways was wonderful but it let me ignore how i was feeling. it just sort of froze up inside me.
everyone has different ways (and time frames) of coping and moving on so you can only find what works for you. after my second miscarriage i wrote a letter to the lost babies - corny to be sure but it did make me feel better and work through my sadness.
but yes it does get better.
