If nothing more than to combat my severe boredom I thought I would get a thread together for the week I am due and see where everyone else is up to.

I am due 12th July and from looking at other threads I know there are many many babies due in the month of July!!

Please feel free to come along and join in and lets support each other though the next week (or dare I say two)!!

Should I keep a running log so we know who is who and due when??

Here we go:

Kerri - 12/07/2011 - 2nd Baby

Hope to hear from you soon, Kerri xxx

:o at babyonboard

babyonbord · 04/07/2011 11:53

any one want to join me (i mean obviously at home with your partners lol)

nicolamumof3 · 04/07/2011 20:09

i think i'll just stick to my flip flops BOB!

babyonbord · 05/07/2011 11:27

yeah i've taken to wearing flip flops i guess it helps that it's summer lol i'm offically due in one week. Am i the only one sick of people saying (when complaining that baby hasn't come yet) "but you're not due till the 12th" Yes because so many babies come on their actual due date, a baby is due any time in the 4 week period surrounding the due date ie 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after you morons.

babyonbord · 05/07/2011 11:28

technically we are all due now thats a nice thought

summerymummery · 05/07/2011 19:23

Can I join?! I'm due 11th July. It's my first and I'm starting to get nervous now!

4th baby for Nicolamumof3?! You have my respect! Please tell me that that means labour is not all THAT bad....

MummyTigger · 05/07/2011 20:16

Has anyone else realised the utter heaven of swimming pools?!

I MEAN GOD!

Sorry, but just got back from a pool session with DP, really fancied going swimming and it was the best experience ever! Not only were the staff extra-nice and understanding about me being 38 weeks, they even allowed me to wear a vest top over my bikini as I'm self-conscious about my stretchmarks.

Felt so light. No more hip pain, backache, leg cramps, nerve spasms, ankle stabs... nothing! Getting out of the pool is a killer though. You feel so heavy afterwards!

Seriously though - I recommend finding your local pool and basically living in it until you're due. Most comfortable I've felt in months.

highheelsandequations · 05/07/2011 21:48

Well my waters went at 5.30 this morning and I am now finally contracting (since about 4pm I think), unfortunately they are not regular or strong enough to be classed as established labour yet so needing everyone to send contraction vibes to me as if I've not gone into labour properly before 6am tomorrow I have to go on the labour ward not in the midwifery unit. Hoping things are starting to get going now as it's getting bloody sore! Keep your fingers crossed for me.

highheelsandequations · 05/07/2011 21:49

Although I'm still not ready! I had lists to finish!

Lynzilove · 06/07/2011 06:18

Hope things started properly overnight, good luck!!

babyonbord · 06/07/2011 09:04

Good luck right come on girls, one of us is making some headway lets take that to mean we all are

summerymummery · 06/07/2011 10:10

Ooh! Good luck!

Kerri1983 · 07/07/2011 17:34

OMG HighHeels, I never even knew because I was having my own drama. I am hoping everything has progressed well for you and you have your LO with you now :)!!

Well Babyonbord - did the sex thing on Tuesday night which started off the most horrendous FALSE labour I could ever imagine. I had constant intense stomach cramps that just left me emotional and exhausted, all in all lasted for about 5 hours and then nothing at all afterwards just right back to normal.

For some very very STUPID reason I did it again last night (pure desperation I think) and the same happened again, DP is NOT coming near me again until after the big event!!!

Big welcome to Summery Mummery, I will update our list!!!

Hope to hear from you all soon, Kerri x

Hi all,

I'm due 15th July with my first baby. Nothing as yet but I am sooooo fed up of being pregnant.

Congrats High heels. How was your labour?

babyonbord · 09/07/2011 08:16

congratulations on your little one. so one down 11 to go well it's our week next week lets try and have some births. Although i'm resinged to being induced. Go figure that i was convinced my first would be late and he was 4 weeks early and now everyone was convinced this baby was going to be really early (i even finished work at 29 weeks as the hospital threatened to admit me till 37 weeks if i had any more bleeding) and now the little bugger is going to be late lol

babyonbord · 09/07/2011 08:17

(although i have been able to do some last minute shopping in the past 4 weeks)

OP posts:
JimmyChoo17 · 10/07/2011 00:18

Still holding onto mine!

Due 16th with my first bubs :)

Can't work out if I've overdosed on chocolate or bump pains this evening....could be a little of both. I seem to get most of my twinges at night tho.

Kerri1983 · 11/07/2011 10:21

JimmyChoo - any developments over night???

How are you other ladies getting on??

It's my official due date tomorrow, and not that I am religious at all, I am getting so many people telling me that my LO can't be born on that day (well all Catholics anyway) :-0

OP posts:
babyonbord · 11/07/2011 10:36
