Dh and I had unprotected sex on the 21/03, 9 days after the 1rst day of my period. We usually use condoms but didnt have any that night.

We used the withdrawal method, he pulled in time no problem. My only worry and I'm sorry it is going to be TMI but when we did it, we didn't need lube, I was quite ermm wet and I think he was too.

About 7 days after the deed, I have started to have sore boobs, now it is not unusual for me as I get sore boobs before my periods but not 2 weeks and a half before it !

So what are the chances of me being pregnant ? And how early can I test ? My periods are due between the 4rth and the 10th of April !

DP and I got a bit carried away in october as the kids were at their grandparents for a night, I suddenll realised we weren't using anything and as DD was only 10 months old I made him stop before anything happened. I'm now 28 weeks pregnant :)

Hope you get the result you're hoping for xx

Yes, you can get pregnant using this method even if he withdraws in time. I did when DD was 3-4 months old. I'm now 29 wks Smile

Hi everyone I am new to this site. Im abit confused when it comes to the pull out method etc. Sorry for tmi but I jist wanted to hear others views... basically I always check n chart my menstrual cycle. It is average 29 to 30 days. Ovulating rouhly 14th 15th or 16th at times. I check my cm as I know all bout it etc. I have been using the pull put method for the laat 8 months and jist recently I had sex using the pull out method on day 12 at night and my cm was wet and alittle egg white at the time. And im sure I ovulated on day 14 as day 15 was still wet but becoming creamy in the evening. What are the chances of becoming pregnant from that. Also my bf pulled out and sorry for tmi but he cummed on my bum then strsight away we went for round 2 lol.Blush

Partner and I have used the withdrawal method many times over the years we've been together and have never fallen pregnant. I also fall very easily as I fell the first month of trying with my 2 children. Saying that ,we only relied on this method after we'd agreed that we did want kids together but didn't know when so wouldn't have been a big deal if I had fallen. Chances are small BUT the chance is still there so take a pregnancy test to ease your mind.
Partners having a vasectomy after our third as we definitely don't want any more and even though we've had no accidents with the withdrawal I wouldn't be able to handle the stress every month when period was late !

Ive used the pull out method for over 6 years previously and nothing happened. But What are the chances as my current partner pulledout on time then after letting It all out He put it back in straight away and we continued again also at the time I know it was my fertile days. Im just confused as some say if a guy doesnt urinate between ejaculation then there still could be some sperm left over. Also when I went home I checked and it looked and feltlike precum or sperm inside me. Sorry for tmi

Littlefrenchmummy · 13/11/2015 10:36

Thats the main reason why you get pregnant with the pull out method. If the man goes for round 2 and doesn't have a wash in between. There is still sperm on him/ in him that will get in you.

Obviously the pull out method isn't reliable and you can totally get pregnant from it. But going for round 2 without a wash is basically like if he came in you. You still might not be pregnant ! But the chances are higher because of round 2 unfortunately xx

@littlefrenchmummy thankyou it makes a little more sense to me now. lol im due to start AF round next friday/saturday. My cm became non fertile cm on day 15/16. And the dsy I done the deed I had little ewcm. So assumin day14 I ovulated. 2days after my ovulation my breasts started to be quite tender n swore and feeling alottle dizzy at times and few aches on one side pelvic paat few days. Not sure if its pms symptoms or.. Tbh I would be happy if I got pregnant but it seems like it hasnt happened to me yet as ive been hsving unprotected sex for over 6 years with pull out method and never got pregnant.

zannyminxoxox · 14/11/2015 04:50

This happened to me and my husband found out 2 weeks before his snip. I hadn't timed my ovulation right and he didn't pull out as I thought I wasn't due to ovulate for another 8 days. Baby number 3 is now half way cooked

Tatie3 · 14/11/2015 20:58

We used the withdrawal method for 3.5 years successfully so it's not impossible, but unlikely that you're pregnant.

ShowOfBloodyStumps · 14/11/2015 21:03

It might be worth starting your own thread as this one's very old. The theoretical protection of withdrawal is obliterated by going for round two immediately.
