With both pregnancies always EXTREME tiredness. Like to the point I'd sleep a good 10 hours and still need a nap. Over emotional to.

Brices · 26/01/2014 10:41

Constipation made me reach for a testing kit

bugoven · 26/01/2014 11:06

Christmas Day Baileys tasted like bin water
Spots on forehead and jaw line
Thirst
Hunger
Moodiness
Slight discomfort in lower back
Double boob on each side from outgrowing my bra!
All from 11-12dpo

I knew I'd see two lines for certain!

CuteLittleToes · 26/01/2014 11:09

Period type cramps that felt a bit different and peeing every 5 mins.

Lottiedoubtie · 26/01/2014 11:22

Nausea
Sore breasts
Cramping

But I didn't know for sure until I'd POAS four times

RedCountryRoads · 26/01/2014 11:33

Bloated, feeling swollen and tired

MoominIsGoingToBeAMumWaitWHAT · 26/01/2014 11:42

Missed a period, ignored it because I'm stupid and thought I'd be fine . Had nausea and slight cramping pains, thought I had a UTI but knew the doctors would ask if there was any chance I could be pregnant, so I did a test just to rule it out for sure, little blue cross appeared, I was seven weeks pregnant. Oops?

now 27 weeks tomorrow and wouldn't change a thing

My big indicator was late AF! I tested one day after it was due, negative, then felt suspiciously tired and a bit faint til one week late I tested again and got a bfp!

The main symptom has been exhaustion. I get to about 3 pm then want to crawl under my desk for a snooze. A few waves of nausea and tingly nips but nothing too bad.

Cupcake11 · 26/01/2014 14:32

Sore boobs and spots before period was due. Implantation bleed then sickness from about six weeks.

Hubbythecatandme · 26/01/2014 14:49

Falling asleep on parents' sofa (which is very uncomfortable) after getting up at 11am that day... sore nipples (a lot more than PMT), headache, discomfort in lower back (like someone was pinching my uterus from the back if that makes sense!) and needing to wee a lot more often...

Savy1992 · 16/10/2015 22:53

With my first pregnancy I literally had no symptoms. I did have a missed period, but I when I was 18 I went I went 2 months with out a period and I wasn't pregnant. I took multiple pregnancy test and also went to the doctors. I got pregnant at the age of 20, so my missed period I thought it was stress didn't think much of it. I had no frequent urination, food aversions, metallic taste, headaches, no implantation bleed/spotting, no swollen or tender breast or tingly sensations. No morning sickness, I always slept a lot also because I like sleep, I was always moody but I've always been a grumpy person lol so I didn't give much thought into that. My eating habits never changed. It wasn't until November 5th I had to wake up early due to a meeting. I had a friend drive me there and back home due to cool weather. Something was telling me in my head, hey you pregnancy tests take one. I had a box that 3 tests came in. So I listened to mind and I took one. I looked at it had one line, than I glanced at it again and there two lines. I was in shock couldn't believe it. So I waited about an hour took another it still said positive I took both tests next door to my cousins and showed her. I waited another hour took the last test it still showed up positive. I texted my room mate and she finally woke up, looked at all 3 and said I highly doubt your pregnant. So I called the doctors that Monday and they scheduled a visit for the 6th of November, the nurse came in took my blood pressure and my temperature. My blood pressure was 130 and my temp was 98.9 the as is it was when I took my temp that following Monday. The nurse said if I wasn't pregnant she would have to retake my blood. During that process my urine was being analyzed. The nurse left and the doctor came in, she said well you took a test and it was either negative or positive. She said I was positive for being pregnant. I was sorta stunned, she asked what I was going to do, I told her I was to keep the baby. She said okay and she sat me up with a doctors appointment to return. I was 112.0 pre pregnancy and 152.2 when I went in to labor. My son is 2 years old and very active. I had my son July 16th 2013 he was 7lbs 13oz head and chest 13 cm his height was 20.25inchs. He was born on a Tuesday at 8:09pm

Nausea all day, metallic taste, severely bloated stomach felt full but knew I hadn't eaten, stomach rumbling all the time from hunger. Oh the joys 3 months on and its still going strong.

strangerjo · 16/10/2015 23:29

Itchy stomach/hips - it drove me mad. Then nausea. Then really odd behaviour - feeling really alert and angry. Then cystitis. Then pelvic pain. Then sore breasts. I had no idea I was pregnant because I was spotting for three weeks and thought that was a weird period. It was the nausea and breast pain that prompted me to realise I was pregnant (7wks when I realised).

Dachshund · 16/10/2015 23:36

Missed a period, was regular to the day at that time so was a big sign! Also sorest of sore boobs and extreme fatigue, the first trimester was absolutely awful, especially once the sickness got going too

Archer26 · 16/10/2015 23:49

Nausea. Horrible horrible nausea. Laying on the floor in office until it passed nausea. And unbelievably tired. Just thought I was ill.

DH was away, I had a friend staying (who was 4 months pregnant) and instead of entertaining her I just laid on the sofa feeling like death. It was her saying 'you're so pregnant' that made me put two and two together! Which is daft cos we were actively trying!

WelshWereRabbit · 17/10/2015 00:16

First time, late period. Second time super smell and being over emotional before I even got to late period stage. Heavy/sore boobs too,but I used to get that with pmt anyway, so not a real indicator, except for when it didn't go away for several months when I was pg.

Strokethefurrywall · 17/10/2015 00:22

1st time around, a serious aversion to that second glass of wine. I POAS the following day which was the day before I was due on but I knew I was pregnant because there could be no other logical reason to turn away the grape. Started barfing about 2 hours after I saw that positive EPT - didn't stop until 14 weeks.

Ds2 I didn't have an aversion which was what made me test when I was halfway through a pint of wine. I had no pregnancy symptoms until 7 weeks and then it was just constant nausea and the overwhelming need to put all beige carbohydrates into my mouth ALL the time.

Ahh happy days...

mistletoeprickles · 17/10/2015 08:06

First time around I had no clue what so ever and it's only because I went to the doctor with a suspected urine infection that pregnacy was detected.

Second time round aka now (BFP yesterday) I've "known" since about Monday. I had implanation pain Monday then I've been symptom spotting since. Sore boobs, nausea, dark nipples, back ache, pulling and pinching pains.

MadrigalElectromotive · 17/10/2015 08:12

My boobs looked very round and I went off food a bit.

Rhiannon2015 · 17/10/2015 08:16

Very tingly boobs. And feeling sore. Different to period symptoms

NeuroticFox1 · 18/10/2015 05:53

In hindsight it was sore boobs but at the time it was noticing I got my dates wrong on the calendar!!

WheresMyBurrito · 18/10/2015 06:17

I got incredibly sensitive to smells, to the point I was nearly sick on the bus to work (a lovely sign of things to come...). And I did feel very sick in general I think, off my food etc. I only did a test out of curiosity, bloody good job really!

Oysterbabe · 18/10/2015 11:34

The OP is probably on her 3rd pregnancy by now Grin but for the record mine was dizziness and sore boobs.

Cnmorgan13 · 18/10/2015 12:24

I had tested about 4 or 5 days before and was negative. I was eating more and extremely tired to the point I was falling asleep about 6pm. Boobs weren't sore, no metallic taste just the tiredness.

ALR123 · 18/10/2015 18:58

I did a test on the Sunday before starting some medication (that I was told I mustn't be pregnant on). On the Thursday I felt nauseous all day and put it down to the meds. On the Friday morning i had a dream I was pregnant and woke up feeling sick and thinking I needed to do another test. That one was positive! I was 4 weeks pregnant so the one i did 5 days before would have been too early to detect it. I'm now 28 weeks and thankfully it doesn't look like meds affected baby!
