Just wondering what everyones first signs and symptoms were that showed they were pregnant??

peeing for britain and going off alcohol for me. And I was so hungry! We went camping before we knew I was pg and I ate a weeks worth of food in 3 days! But it was a friend commenting on how much I was peeing that made me buy a test!

how reliable are pregnancy kits? mine said 99% reliable and i did two and BOTH were positive....but had hardly any symptoms - except needing to wee a lot

Metallic weird taste in my mouth and just a general feeling of feeling a bit odd.

Raging thirst, exactly the same as cerealqueen, from a week before AF was due until now (7w).

I'm also freezing cold most of the time, I'm bundled up in about 6 layers right now. Anyone else experience this in early pregnancy?!

I second the feeling cold all the time but didn't notice it straight away. Main sign was that my boobs just appeared overnight and were very tight and tender. Not so much the sore nipples, just veiny, sudden growth of boobs. Then after about a week it was that AF was late. That was it until about 6 weeks and morning sickness kicked in with avengeance.

I had the thirst thing too but was only symptom other than absent period! But even that wasn't straight forward as my body was playing tricks and I ended up being 2 weeks late before getting a BFP!!

An even more interesting 2ww than the original one!!

Positive pg test! Although with current dates I got that at only 10dpo so very early. Was on a neverending 70 odd day cycle and so POAS regularly occassionally just to check.

Did have the thirst, period-like cramps and very sore boobs soon after the BFP though.

I was (and am still) absolutely exhausted and had really heavy/sore boobs. Went up a bra size in a couple of weeks! Kinda made me think this wasn't normal PMT Smile

Ive got muscle tension in my lower stomach.... haven't done a test yet though....

Missing period - I honestly didn't think I was pregnant, but during the week after AF was due, I was feeling queasy at random times of day. I bought a test while I was doing the shopping as I felt a bit..weird - that seems the best way to describe it - like faint but not light-headed iykwim? Did a cheap test and had a faint line, so went to get the digital "weeks" one, that came up Pregnant 2-3 weeks Grin I was so pleased I couldn't stop grinning! Then had to start my new college course, so couldn't tell DH until gone 9pm! (I found out at 4, it was a long 5 hours!)

I think I'm pregnant again. I've had different symptoms from the first like erect nipples, breasts have increased in size, stomach is hurting in the place where it was before. Metallic taste in my mouth, Also gone off coffee and alcohol... Very weird for me as I love them both..
having to pee all the time, and just really bad mood swings.
Taking a test this week:) anyone else had these symptoms?

The friday and Saturday before I POAS I was absolutely knackered. I had a nap in the middle of the day that lasted 3 hours. I just thought I was coming down with something.

I was very hot all the time and didn't have sore boobs like I usual get before a period.

A few days before my period was due, my skin broke out terribly in a way it hadn't done since I was a teenager...or the last time I was pregnant.

A pulling sensation in the pelvic ligaments. Same with all 3 of mine. Third time round I knew 4 days before my period was due that I was pregnant when my ligaments started to ache!

  1. for me it was being late for my period (did several tests but negative )
  2. came up in loads of spots
  3. kept feeling sick but only at night :/
  4. slight cramps
  5. feeling so emotional
  6. so tired
  7. doing another test and now BFP.... :D

Stomach cramps - for about an hour, every night for a fortnight, like the worst period pains I've ever had. Decided I had to go to GPs, only POAS because she knew we were trying and thought she'd make me just in case. After 3 years trying, I got the shock of my life when it actually positive!

A snotty nose within a day or two of conception, each time. I was also really tired and to sleep well is a rarity for me so I was immediately suspicious.

Insomnia, nausea and a serious grump!
