When did you first notice baby bump?

Hi everyone,

just wondering when you noticed the presence of baby?!
I am currently nearly 10 weeks and have developed a podge! May be due to the crap food I have eaten in Canada this last week ( they had no vegetables arrrghhhhh!)
i just wondered what you noticed that made you think oooooo here comes my bump :D

I have my scan in a few weeks and sooo scared! Really really want a baby to be in there

First time - about 16 weeks, but now,2nd time, at 9 weeks.

chocolatehobnobs Poor you, more like :) How far gone are you now as things are getting back to normal? I've felt less repulsed by food in the past two weeks, but still I'm tremendously picky about what I eat.

G1inger I'm 9 +2. No symptoms until 6 weeks then repulsed by food for the last 3 - still could be worse! and the weight loss is a silver lining (she stuffs another hobnob in)

My bump started at about 11 weeks. It's really early, but its definitely a baby bump as it doesn't go away when I lie on my back. People are starting to notice and ask questions so its lucky i really am pregnant.

I've put on a stone already (although some of that might have been before I got pregnant, as Ive been eating more since living with my boyfriend. Good luck with the scans. I had mine last week and it was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. I was a bit freaked out before in the early days, but seeing it on screen made it seem all lovely and ok.

Im 6 +4 with number 4 and over the last week my belly seems to be growing on a daily basis! Im 5 ft 10 and weigh 9st 12, its normally very flat so its quite noticeable! Was about 26 weeks with first when strangers started noticing, 18 with 2nd and about 16 with 3rd.

I'm hoping I can hold out in my normal clothes until the spring weather truly kicks in! Thinking nice summer dresses will be an alternative to a mass of expensive maternity clothes! Due Nov (probabaly) so don't want to have to buy two seasons worth of maternity clothes!

(DH kindly suggested i just stay at home and be naked the whole time! Though don't think my boss would appreciate me taking taht much time off work!)

Hey everyone thanks for your replies. Still no sign of a bump and want one so badly :-( I have a wedding next weekend and it would be nice to look pregnant rather than fat !x

I'm nearly 5.11 and fairly slim pre pregnancy. I'm 19+3 now with my first, and it's just starting to become noticable to people who don't know me so well (though still just feel fat!). I've been in maternity clothes for a few weeks, but more to do with me widening width ways, than having a pronounced, obvious bump. Roll on the bump!

Hi rugby I'm same height as u and reading your post has made me feel better. I'm 13 +4 and still podgy! Keep getting bloated and DH gets all excited that I've popped lol then I'm 'flat' again by the next day! Crazy!x

I had a bit of extra podge from about 10 wks but was still in most of my normal jeans to about 16/17 wks - bump really started at about 22 wks and now at 27 have a noticeable bump at last.

I was 8/10 before and 5'6" I'm wearing normal size 12 stuff now still with a bit or room and have put on a stone and a half so far.

mine has popped out properly yesterday but I am short, 5ft 2.4 and only size 10/12. hubby says he is worried i will turn into a tank....

I hope I'll get one by 20 week scan as feels weird having a 12 w scan photo but no bump :-(

I'm 18+5 and just slightly rounded, I was hoping I'd have a bump for my 20 week scan but seeing as that's in 6 days I may just still look a bit fat.

Hi still no sign of bump here! Supposed to be 15 weeks now. Feel a fraud. Got mw in 8 days bit terrified to see what she says. I don't feel any different at all. I always end the day really reall bloated which is really getting on my nerves! Other than that I just have a fat gut.
Am going to go to the gym today to start getting a little bit in shape. Did anyone else not have any bump at all at this stage? My mw said I'd have a tiny bump as I'm long but I thought I'd at least be able to feel something but nothing has changed :-(
