How many of the partners are now exes? They sound like a right bunch of tw*ts

The most unsupportive thing my dp did was get arrested for possetion of cannabis, resulting with our flat being searched.

I only found out when I got home from a 13 hour shift to a flat in disarray, phoned dp to find out where he was, got no answer so phoned his friend.

I was 7 months pregnant.

Oh, also, when I got out of the hospital, I came home to a filthy flat, a pile of washing, and beer cans and ashtrays everywhere.

And while I was in hospital, he turned up with 3 people I didn't know, and left with them.

He has been informed about the error of his ways. There will be rules.

OK don't judge him by this, he was pr-plussed to the tip of his toes and can't believe after 5 yeras he did this...
but went Vlack fridaying (a post carnival 12 hour booze up) whilst i went to the hospital to have my BP checked as they detected what was pre-eclampsia the day before.

He's not really mean, honest!!

Had an affair and f*ed off.

When I was heavily pregnant with DS2 - he got pissed off his head, came home staggering drunk having been in the pub all afternoon while I dealt with our 3 year old.

In his drunken attempt to make a meal he let DS1 burn himself quite badly on the stove

He slept on the couch!

(DS still has the scar to this day - DH feels awful to this day)

Carlk · 11/10/2005 23:45

When I was 8 months and we were rushing to an NCT class, dp said 'if you didn't wear such impactical shoes you'd be able to walk faster'. I was wearing flat campers - he just didn't get it that walking at 8 months is different to walking when not pg. I was SO pleased when the NCT teacher did an excercise demonstrating how much extra pg women carry about with them.

But compared to some things on this thread, he only gets two points on his license!

Continuing to pour me a glass of wine every evening, even though I desperately wanted to not have one. hee hee

myturntobeposh · 12/10/2005 00:29

Refused to come in to hospital with me when I was having our fourth. Had to take my mother!

MINNIE1 · 12/10/2005 10:45

My DP is getting better but the one thing that sticks was when i was about 7wks and i was not doing alot tiredness, sickness and feeling terrible had taken over, (as it does) Dp said such and such a persons wife ran a marathon when she was pregnant!!! He didnt say this once to me but twice! i exploded on the 2nd occasion and told him she didnt have a M/C and did he want me to go and do a marathon just to keep up with her.
But he is getting better!

novadandypowder · 12/10/2005 11:17

In the middle of hideous sickness that was keeping me housebound he asked if I wanted to go to a football match. He really thought he was being thoughtful. When I finally stopped crying he realised it was an error.

Tell me I couldn't go dancing because I'd embarrass other people.
Remind me regularly about the requirement to lose weight afterwards.

I remember him tutting a lot and turning up the sound during the first Big Brother because I was retching

Also, I listened to friends' tales of how their other halves traipsed miles to get them their favourite craving and my DH refused to get off his arse and go to the freezer to get me some ice-cream.

He turned out to be a great dad though so I've forgiven him.

My DP is usually quite good but has been commenting on how big I've got recently, I have gone from looking fatter to noticeably pregnant overnight.

So last night he said as I was getting ready for bed "I could never shag a fat bird!" cheeky b, he did phone up and apologise this morning, not like he's my 6 pack Adonis either!

my friends' dh was helping hold her upright while anaethetist doing epidural.
needless to say she got very faint and he dropped her........ thank goodness baby ok!
i was horrified when she first told me because our baby was due the month after, but as i say we laugh now!
but how UNSUPPORTIVE was he!

laa · 12/10/2005 16:15

de-ice the car in a snow storm at 3am whilst massively in labour...he did have flu though. when I told him I was in labour (midnight) he said good and rolled back to sleep . (Flu)!).

laa · 12/10/2005 16:36

I mean -LET ME de-ice the car... he was all for letting it thaw (it was about -4 and a good 30 - 40 mins to hospital over country roads. Like I was going to sit and wait whilst in labour with my 3rd baby!!

Carlk · 13/10/2005 16:06
