As soon as I can express milk I plan on making a few bottles and the geting wankered (although saying that one glass probably will floor me now!) I'm notmuch of a drinker normally but have been teetotal and look forward to a couple glasses of celebratory champagne Grin)

This will be indulged in with a plate full of stinking French cheese.

I looked forward to putting my pants on without having to sit on a chair and wearing tights again (far too hard to get on!).

And even now, four months later I am still a cheap date...must get practising Grin

theevildead2 · 10/01/2011 13:08

Ooh reminded me mercedes I look forward to not having to have DH tie my shoes for me when we are out and I cna't find a chair!

sh77 · 10/01/2011 13:18

julez - ant eating without feeling sick - is that possible Grin?

Getting into my size 8 jeans (a dream, I know).
However, I am not looking forward to not being able able to use pregnancy as an excuse for being a lazy cow.

theevildead2 · 10/01/2011 13:24

sh77 I plan on using breast feeding as an excuse for being a lazy cow.

I'm going to see if I can get out of doing cat litter somehow using that too. (its worked for the past 9 months)

HavingAnOffDAy · 10/01/2011 13:30

A bottle of champagne to myself.

The first cold beer of my summer holiday (I was few weeks pg on our last one)

Having a waist again

WanderingSheep · 10/01/2011 13:35

Being slim!

Being able to roll over in bed without feeling like I need a crane to lift me!

Being able to do shopping without the checkout/cashier lady commenting on how huge I am and looking shocked at the fact that I have X weeks to go!

justbeingmummy · 10/01/2011 13:37

A cocktail!!! Smile

MedicalEd · 10/01/2011 13:42

Stilton and port - Christmas was so hard.

GoldFrakkincenseAndMyrrh · 10/01/2011 13:50

Being able to exercise properly!

Being able to go for more than 2 hour without needing the loo (again, that might have to wait a while, depending on state of pelvic floor)

snowmummy · 10/01/2011 13:51

Same as the OP, wine and smelly cheese Grin

tubbyglossop · 10/01/2011 14:08

It being, once more, a trivial task to put on shoes and socks.

And ALL the forbidden food/booze! Grin

runningmonkey · 10/01/2011 14:09

Eating pate and sleeping on my stomach (although not at the same time :))

Mahraih · 10/01/2011 14:17

Such a bloody good question.

Drinking alcohol! Already planned a weekend to Brighton with the girls (a couple months after baby is born, and DP is more than happy to have time alone with DS).

Getting back into the size 8's - fingers crossed.

Eating pate, stilton, brie, runny eggs ... etc.

Generally not being a lump, and being able to get up the stairs without becoming a panting mess.

ChessyEvans · 10/01/2011 14:21

Yep with tubby - putting on shoes and socks, DH finds it hilarious (not in a mean way!) watching me trying to put my socks on.

Also peanut butter - not allowed in pg due to DH's allergy. Am yet to research if I'm allowed it during breastfeeding (putting off evil moment of finding I can't have it!).

LDNlady · 10/01/2011 14:49

All the cheeses that I've not been allowed and Belgian beer. I also can't wait for people to speak to me about something other than, the baby, being pregnant and how I'm feeling!

LondonL · 10/01/2011 17:18

wearing cute clothes again, instead of feeling like a big blob in a tent!

BeetleBaby · 10/01/2011 17:36

I was putting together a mental list of these on the bus home earlier:

A pint of real ale and not a shandy, all those lovely, stinky blue cheeses, being able to roll over in bed, actually just moving without wincing due to SPD & hypermobility, walking further than the bus stop without being exhausted, not having to drink Gaviscon to get through a meal (yuck!), lasting a whole day at work without someone telling me to go home because I look worn out, being able to take of socks/trousers/tights without ending up doing a good beached turtle impression on the bed and having to be rescued by DH, being able to wear my oldest, most worn, holey but comfortable jeans... [dreamy face emoticon]

Petalouda · 10/01/2011 17:54

a nice glass of rattler, and then pimms, sleeping on my front, not having a head/bum under my right lung, brie & cranberry sandwiches, and getting back on my bike & skateboard!

And just a little bit of those things would be enough!

(mmmm....... brie....)

autumnberry · 10/01/2011 18:04

Can't believe no-one else has mentioned it... having sex without a bump in the way!

bowlingball · 10/01/2011 18:06

Not having to deal wih extremely rude medical receptionists and staff Angry

cocoachannel · 10/01/2011 18:17

Autumnberry- too right.

That and wearing high heels.

Not at the same time. Although come to think about it...Wink

LarryAdler · 10/01/2011 18:25

Going running and feeling fit again. Wearing normal clothes. I really really can't wait, am planning running routes in my head.

witches · 10/01/2011 18:37

Ah u girls make me feel better. I have soooo been missing the booze and over Christmas - gutting! now i am not a raging alcoholic as i may sound but having been told u can't drink makes it so much more appealing! Looking forward to enjoying a little glass of something after my 12weeks, feel people kind of judge you if say you miss drink!Wink
