blueberryboybait · 05/10/2010 15:06

I once cried because DH brought the wrong king of tinned peas home. Hmm

AnakisT · 05/10/2010 15:07

When I was pregnant I cried my eyes and ran out of Morrisons because my husband didn't want a hot cooked chicken and I was hungry Hmm

blueberryboybait · 05/10/2010 15:07

kind although king peas would have made me cry too.

JoEW · 05/10/2010 15:17

I cried at x-factor on Sunday. I don't even watch it, it's silly. I had it on for five minutes because I was tired and having a cup of tea and a muffin. I can't even remember what got me started but I was sobbing with make-up running down my face. Thank god DH was out!

MissCKitty · 05/10/2010 15:18

blanchedevereaux · 05/10/2010 15:20

I have just sat at my desk at work and burst into tears over this story on the BBC News:

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-south-scotland-11474969

I know it isn't a ridiculous thing to cry at but I was on a conference call and forgot to mute it. I'm still sobbing about that poor family. :(

I cry whenever I watch something about giving birth... Including Ice Age 3 when the baby mammoth is born... Blush

KittyMee · 05/10/2010 15:25

I cried (was about 23 weeks preg) when an announcement came over the tannoy in Asda saying 'Happy 50th Birthday, Mary, from all your friends in the Grocery section'. I just thought, God, Mary must be a lovely woman and it's just great that she's got so many friends. Then cried for a full 5 minutes. Husband walked away from me mortified.

soppypreggyloon · 05/10/2010 15:26

oh that's terribly sad!
i can't watch anything with babies on - mylene klass was on this morning yesterday in a premature babies unit in a hospital.

HAHAHA KittyMee that's brilliant.

I cried once because Subway was closed and then went catatonic because I couldn't think of anything else I wanted eat. Went to see a friend and she thought from my face that something had happened to the baby.

I cried the other day because my husband said he didn't like Midsomer Murders and wanted to turn over. To be fair it was the night before my birthday and I was sober and poorly, but I did cry rather a lot.

ShowOfHands · 05/10/2010 15:32

I cried in Sainsbo's when pregnant. There were too many bubble baths to choose from. And I was paralysed with indecision. And panicking that if I couldn't choose between Relaxation and Forest Scents, then how the hell would I raise a child? A kind member of staff led me away and gave me tea.

I also cried when an old chap in front of me in the supermarket queue had a tin of value soup and some dog food in his basket. Nothing else. DH had to hold me back. I think I was trying to adopt him.

TheFoosa · 05/10/2010 15:34

yes, I too cried at The Tooth Fairy, but only because it was one of the worst films EVER

Shhhdonttell · 05/10/2010 15:35

Oh soppy, I wish I could say it was just the sad stuff but really anything that features birth or babies just sets me off... I'm just so looking forward to meeting mine...

youngblowfish · 05/10/2010 15:39

At around about 7 weeks, I cried at the end of my prenatal yoga DVD when Shiva Rea wished me a radiant pregnancy and motherhood during relaxation. I thought 'oh, how lovely of her' and sobbed my heart lying on my matt in the middle of the living room.

Blush
Scouseem · 05/10/2010 15:40

When I had my first DS I sobbed my heart out on a packed bus because I had forgot to put make up on. My mum was so embarrassed. Don't you just love hormones.

Pregnancy is just totally ridiculous

JBrd · 05/10/2010 16:10

Any RSPCA advert

And last week we watched the BBC documentary about tigers, bawled my eyes out.

And one episode of the current Jamie Oliver series, where this fat girl declared what difference Jamie teaching them to cook had made for her...

I'm only 8 weeks, for crying out loud!
