Butchered episiotomy

Hi all, I’m over a year postpartum I had a forceps delivery, episiotomy and third degree tear. I can’t find any real life pictures of what an episiotomy looks like when healed only diagrams. I don’t think mine was done correctly hence why I tore so badly. Can someone please take a look and tell me if you think it’s been botched? No doctor will admit fault.

Mine healed apart (big gap in lips part) so don't think yours looks too bad!

Oh wow that sounds scary for you 🥺 can they not do a repair or anything? X

That looks so rough and uncomfortable -I would agree if doesn’t look like it was done properly. I mean I’m not a doctor but I can hardly tell where mines was done and it was done In a hurry! So sorry this happened to you and that you were misinformed about the process.

I can but would need a general and worried it might affect stuff sex wise. At moment it's just itchy, uncomfortable wedgies sometimes and sometimes I pee all over the seat if I hover in public toilets!

generally I’ve heard something called a fentons procedure carry’s good success rates. Definitely if you do get it done find a really good gynaecologist.
I can’t hover as that causes me utis so I cover the seat in toilet paper so I don’t have to sit directly on it lol! Maybe that might help you too x

Thank you, it’s just frustrating that you can’t do much once someone’s cut you down there. Like if they cut out the scar tissue it will just leave more scar tissue 🥲

Glad yours was ok though! Some doctors are definitely better than others x
