Kiwi - HI! Good to hear from you. I hate to say this, but it's probably a phase. Oh my GOD that's just too grim. One of my NCT friends now gets up at 5.30am every morning, but she said that she's hoping it'll pass! DD always used to sleep past 7.30, but now she's up and ready at 6.30, whatever time I put her down! I've tried later and it made zero difference. Grr. But I'm hoping that one day it'll get later. If you'd told me 2 years ago that I'd think of 7.30 as a lie in, I wouldn't have believed it!!! But hopefully she might last a bit longer soon. Yours and mine! Maybe you could drop the feed when she wakes up at 5, so she doesn't think there's anything to wake up for and just start her day, but stave off on food for half an hour or more? Hideous for you, but might train her for sleeping a bit longer. But I'm probably talking nonsense.
And I'd LOVE to get my mitts on your changing mat at some stage! Wetlands was postponed, so am happy to go another time - I'm on maternity leave now - hurrah! So can go any time pretty much! But we're moving in 2.5 weeks, so maybe could do it next week or something? Plus will be enormously pregnant before too long - already feeling pretty cumbersome and grim. Find I'm so exhausted by the end of the day, it's terrible. Even if I have a snooze at lunchtime. V dull for DH.
DD has now stopped eating breakfast unless she's got the TV on. GOD the Daily Mail would crucify me!!! She has fruit and/or cereal in her high chair, but her toast will only be eaten if Zingzilla is on!
Lady - are you ok? You've gone v quiet and I'm a bit worried about you! Where are you? Are you keeping your pecker up, so to speak? Thinking of you.
Sybs - when are you next in Latchmere? Would really love to see you .
