Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
CrispyTheCrisp · 02/05/2010 13:19

tbf it is the whiney singing with plastered grins which is the most annoying

On a more important note, is the oil slick going to endanger your holiday?

LWFH, am with you on the P&T Vibe. For some reason i just don't like it

cyteen · 02/05/2010 13:49

Following last night's remote control/water interface, the whole freeview box has decided to conk out. This means NO CBEEBIES We are undecided as yet what to do about it. I'd like to think we can live without the magical distracting power of primary colour tv but ask me again once the weekend is finished.

Went to the shopping centre this morning to get DS's feet measured - at last they have grown, so he has shiny new shoes. I think the cause of yesterday's unhappiness has also manifested itself, in the form of four hideous eggy nappies before midday [blee] Hopefully that's the end of it anyway, poor pickle.

Forgot the football was on so got back just in time to see the hordes of shirted fans descending on our bloody parking spaces Oh well, last game of the season...I hope Leicester City lose!

QueenofDreams · 02/05/2010 15:03

Hi everyone
dizz I don't feel like I'm pregnant either. It doesn't quite seem real yet. Although to be honest you'd think the damn nausea and vomiting would make it seem real

Lady from bf group had her baby this morning at 4.20. Born in water at home 1hr 15 minutes after first contraction. And such a lovely name

VintageGreenLady · 02/05/2010 15:13

Blee is a very good exclamation of slightly frightened disgust, cyteen! I likey.

Why sniff Ann, you are going to have one!

Re P&T I have the sports one (hollow laugh) and it's so unwieldy for folding up / lugging BUT is a super comfy ride for ds2, he hated the previous Urban Detour thing from Masterchef. I wanted the lime/apple but the red was almost 100 quid cheaper!!

cyteen · 02/05/2010 15:14

Ah, sounds lovely I am keeping my fingers crossed for a fabulously easy and uneventful pg and birth for you this time around QoD - hopefully no overdueness or insomnia!

LadyGardenia · 02/05/2010 15:15

Going back to the lady garden.

dizzydixies · 02/05/2010 15:18

LWFH - am only eyeing them on second hand on ebay and would go for a cheaper model however DD2 is too tall for all the others I remember trying DD2 in one and it was hopeless - woman helpfully suggested popping her head out of the top bit of the hood we live in Scotland ffs!!!!

Cyteen - fingers crossed the passing of the mingy poop has solved the issue

QofD sorry to hear you've got nausea/MS but its a good positive sign what name did your friend use - am looking for inspiration!

Crispy - this lunchtime's temper tantrum was a result of one of the beloved wellies falling off and I didn't notice - meanwhile everyone thought the sky was falling in due to the fuss being made

Oops - back away from the furnishing - its just not worth it!!

remind me again why I shouldn't be chowing down on huge portions of brie

DH off to work after a 9hr sleep girls been gymnastics/tescos/playing in garden and now watching total wipeout or 'the big red balls' as its known here - one of their favourite programmes ?!?

dizzydixies · 02/05/2010 15:19

and has anyone else seen Singapore in the photos on FB?!?! I think I have a wee girl crush

LadyGardenia · 02/05/2010 15:32

Get in the queue mate I had that girl crush AGES ago and I have the posts to prove it.

LadyGardenia · 02/05/2010 15:34

viz.

dizzydixies · 02/05/2010 15:34

well fine but don't blame me if she prefers a bit of the old preggy lardy lady lovin

dizzydixies · 02/05/2010 15:35

oops what are you doing bidding on that purse you lunatic!??!! if you want it I'll post it down to you ROFL!!!!!

LadyGardenia · 02/05/2010 15:42

I'm fully expecting her to prefer the feisty Scots entrepreneu(se?) to the disorganised slatternly Paddy.

This is just a private conversation between two mates, right? No-one else can hear us...?

dizzydixies · 02/05/2010 15:45

of course not could you imagine the shame, I mean if poor singapore saw this she'd run a mile from her weirdy stalkers

how is the weather with your darling? Dgod-son is away on his first scout camp this weekend leaving a rather fraught S who I think is about to have kittens

oopsandbabycoconut · 02/05/2010 15:54

Dizzy - tis not really me - my MIL fancies it and if she wants it she can bleeding well pay for it! Will teach her to look over my shoulder when I am noseying ebaying! I bet I get it as a present at some point

Been out to a lovely lunch DD was an angel and sat demanding broccoli and carrots off everyone's plates.

Ils here now men upstairs still building this simple wardrobe. MIL being forced to play kitchens behind the sofa

dizzydixies · 02/05/2010 16:02

well it is nice but far FAR too big for me, was a present from my aunt so no doubt a brand from TKMaxx

glad you had a lovely lunch if all busy being entertained could you not nip up for a very justified wee lie down?!

oopsandbabycoconut · 02/05/2010 16:05

Is that to add to the pre-lunch nap I had with DD. I said I was putting DD down and we dissapearedfor 90mins but another wouldn't go amiss.

dizzydixies · 02/05/2010 16:09

you don't need to sleep, just a wee lie down

lwfhthebagpipeplayer · 02/05/2010 16:17

you can take the hood off a P&T Vibe.

Marking finished late this week. argh.

love to all

dizzydixies · 02/05/2010 16:23

LWFH - I can't EVER take the hood off here

LadyGardenia · 02/05/2010 17:02

Don't have any good news for you on that score I'm afraid dizzy. Has been grey here last few days and absolutely bucketing in dramatic intervals since Friday. Brief period of sunshine when I went running at 12pm & dismal since.

Waaaaahh!

Hope he has a good trip though - I should think he will. I'll be in S's shoes next month, ds1 has a trip to the Gaeltacht for 3 days I think, I'll be very eeky.

QueenofDreams · 02/05/2010 17:29

dizzy Friend's new DD is called Charlotte May. Her older brother is Henry

dizzydixies · 02/05/2010 17:34

lovely

CrispyTheCrisp · 02/05/2010 18:31

Just been for a walk. DD2 bored of her pyjama day and demanded requested a walk. Walked to the pub, fed them tea there and had a beer.

LadyGardenia · 02/05/2010 18:46

Sounds perfect Crispy. I wish I was doing that! Instead am hanging curtains, which I am bound to screw up (the drilling bit) and will end with either me or dp attacking the other with the drill.
