*dizzy8 have you seen the oopsy daisy baby ruffle skirts you liked on ebay?
Also that red holiday dress in on for about £75 inc shipping from usa

TwilightSurfer · 07/01/2009 22:29

No1 I had a serious back issue about three years ago which was entirely due to toting dd1 around. I did two weeks (three days each week) of physical therapy which included heat, e-stem (that's where they stick electrodes all over your back and shock your muscles randomly), and massage. I felt like a totally new woman afterwards. Seems my problem wasn't bone related at all, only muscle. But it sure as hell felt like my bones were breaking. I actually locked up one day and couldn't move while attempting to mop the floor. It hurt so so bad.

I'm very sorry you are in pain. I can completely relate.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 07/01/2009 22:31

thanks ts its not constant its just like you said sort of locks up if I move certain way couldnt even lift to brush hair yesterday.
bit better today though.

TwilightSurfer · 07/01/2009 22:31

whew good
because i do have some ralph lauren baby clothes. none that fit reese . they were all dd1's. i had a bit of shopping problem before/after she was born. that kid had more clothes than a movie star.

dizzydixies · 07/01/2009 22:32

sazzles admission is the first step to realising there is a problem - well done!
and btw you DO realise I didn't find that fern dress, you found that all on your own so your shopping success was all down to you - well done

No1 yes I have, been drooling all over it since we found them - there is also a bloke in the Netherlands I think selling them

I love love love them but not even I can justify £55 per skirt for the girls

oopsacoconut · 07/01/2009 22:33

Yes it was we were -11 but Yatesbury is 3 miles away made the -13. Our whole house was fezzeing at 4am even with the heating on - DD came in with us as even with grobag, 4 blankets she was icy. Also meant I didn't have to get up to feed her

Church today had had it's heating on all week but I could still see my breath (and everyone elses) whilst I was doing my reading.

oh and there's usually a lot of ralph lauren baby clothes in tjmaxx (i think it's tkmaxx for ya'll).

no1 it sounds like you are dealing with EXACTLY what i was dealing with. i will swear by the stuff the physical therapist did to me. it was perfect but even though it was simple the first few treatments made me hurt worse. then it went away completely. i never took one painkiller.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 07/01/2009 22:35

I know bit pricey arnt they.

oopsacoconut · 07/01/2009 22:35

dizzydixies · 07/01/2009 22:36

no1 have you considered a tens machine? I got one for my dad before his hip op and it helped - Lloyds sell them online

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 07/01/2009 22:36

you know them petitcoat dresses you can get which go under a normal dress to make em all fluffly at the bottom. Well does the dress have to be same size/length as under petitcoat to work. if that makes sense

oopsacoconut · 07/01/2009 22:37

There is a RL outlet shop near us - and DD will not be wearing any of that! But there is a lovely shop called Pumpkin full of delish gear.

dizzydixies · 07/01/2009 22:37

tens machine here

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 07/01/2009 22:37

Yes my sis has a tens I might borrow it. It worked while in labour with dd.

pretty

TwilightSurfer · 07/01/2009 22:38

SO THAT'S WHAT A TENS MACHINE IS!!!!!!!!

TwilightSurfer · 07/01/2009 22:39

I wish there was a goofied-eyed smiley.

oopsacoconut · 07/01/2009 22:39

It depends No1 - if it is too short then you will end up with a droop at the bottom if it's too long it will work but poke out the bottom. Solution if it's too long roll up the waist! too short? I haven't a clue - wash child on hot wash for max shrinkage

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 07/01/2009 22:39

just make sure it isn't one designed for labour as they are apparently completely different

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 07/01/2009 22:40

lol oops.Best leave it then as the petitcoat was an all in one with vest style top.

oopsacoconut · 07/01/2009 22:40

I know TS I sometimes wish there was a DUH emoticon.

OP posts:
no1putsbabyinthecorner · 07/01/2009 22:41

oopsacoconut · 07/01/2009 22:44
