largeginandtonic · 15/12/2008 12:17

Oh there you are

Much easier once they are home, i can sit in bed and shout orders for tea DH finishes on Friday too.

I see the midwife Wednesday and then she drops the birthing kit off next week. I will be taking it to mil with me just in case over Xmas.

Are you eating pineapples Jam? Did you think about the caulopyhllum? I may start with the rasberry leaf capsules this week, after B and his messing around labour i am totally ready for a quick 40 minutes like Hugs.

JamInMyWellies · 15/12/2008 12:24

Am not a believer in the raspberry tea or the pineapples apparantly you would have to eat 7 fresh pineapples a day to make a real difference! I might try and do another accupuncture session if we can squeeze the pennies out of our account.

largevirginbirthandtonic · 15/12/2008 12:38

I am not a believer either but will believe anything if i am that desperate

I had acupuncture with Jonah and went in to labour the next day. May be coincidence may be not...

Believe in the placebo effect Jam

JamInMyWellies · 15/12/2008 19:35

Bollocking buggering poo just had a mail to say my secret santa is out of stock.

LG&T would love to look at your pics but I cant look at anything on my laptop except script gwad knows what A has done to it have tried turning off and switching back on my failsafe fixing trick still wont work.

Just made some banana bread tis delish and we are off to the chippy for tea, yummy.

TYG hope you were able to go back to bed this arvo.

elkiedee · 16/12/2008 12:14

Gosh it's quiet here - hope TYG had the chance of some rest, and that Jam is either surviving the waiting game or even that there'll be exciting news soon. I love pineapple but 7 whole ones - don't think I could manage or afford that!

I'm 34 weeks yesterday and am off work using annual leave yesterday and today. Unfortunately D woke up at 4 am and wouldn't go back to sleep yesterday, I did just go back to sleep most of the morning but then had problems pulling myself together to do anything - I sleep very badly at night even without D's help and then struggle to stay awake in the day at the moment. I now have to go out and do the urgent errands I meant to do yesterday. We're taking ds to a carol concert tonight - we're not religious but I thought he might enjoy the music and it's very close to home and only involves keeping him up slightly later than normal.

How close are they and how long are they lasting?

AMeadowfullofChristmasTrees · 16/12/2008 19:12

If you have the OL's with you then could you pop to the birthing centre to be checked? 2nd babies can come fairly quickly. Ella was only 5hrs from start to finish compared to Jack's 17hrs

elkiedee · 16/12/2008 19:30

Come on baby Jam!

JamInMyWellies · 16/12/2008 19:38

Hello All

Mr Jam here they are lasting about a min and coming 6mins apart. Going to call the OL's soon and take her to the birthing centre.
