oooggs, I don't understand - you mean E was the biter? Who bit her?

OP posts:
Eddas · 15/05/2008 20:10

did you speak to the nursery about it?

CaptainDippy · 15/05/2008 20:24

Hello!

oooggs · 15/05/2008 20:27

No Erin woke up squeaking - she is not the biter

they were bitten at 8.15am, 8.45am & 9.25am and other children were bitten too.

Yes I have spoken to the nursery and they are monitoring it not enough in my opinion, but thats just me protecting my children.

hi dippy

Eddas · 15/05/2008 20:29

bloody hell, that's a lot of biting to be doing did they say if the biters is notorious? i'd think they'll be kicked out if it continues

hi cd

does anyone know if the apprentice is repeated? i went out last night so i missed it

Sexonlegs · 15/05/2008 20:44

Evening loves

Eddas, really glad the dc got on well at nursery today. Long may it last.

SPB, really glad T is better. Long may that last too!!

Oooggs, sorry about the biting

I am afraid to say that B was a biter, and I was so ashamed of it. In fact, a friend of mine stopped seeing me, as B bit her daughter. She only did it once, but that was enough.
Sadly, it is just a phase that quite a few children go through. I was so stressed by it that I lost half a stone .

How is everyone?

Dh away tonight But, we are off tomorrow for the weekend.. without the girls

Dh thinks it is going to be a shag-fest. I am looking forward to SLEEP!!!!!

CaptainDippy · 15/05/2008 20:45

@ biting, oooggs!! There are boy twins at my DDs' Pre-School and the other day one of them held my poor little DD2 down while the other one bit her four times - three on the back and particularly bad one on the arm - I was & !!

bloody hell cd i bet their mother was mortified

sol, hope you have a lovely time with dh this weekend. my mind would be on sleep too My friend, eandh's dd was one for biting my dd at one point. She tried everything to stop it but i think she just did it out of frustration. She couldn't speak very well at the time and i think she just used to get annoyed, my dd was generally the receiver of the bite though. Not anyone's fault and she hasn't done it for a long time now. Am that a friend would stop seeing you though. Obviously it wasn't nice but i wouldn't have stopped seeing a friend over it.

Eddas · 15/05/2008 20:52

i meant to ask if dd2 was ok cd must've been traumatic for her

geordieminx · 16/05/2008 08:09

morning ladies!!

Bramshott · 16/05/2008 09:19

Grandpa died early this morning in the end. I feel surprisingly crap tbh given that this has been expected for the past month, and we were told he wouldn't get through last weekend. The worst thing is that my cousin is supposed to be getting married today and had been umming and ahhing over whether to cancel it. Not sure they can even cancel it at this notice? It's a small do and we're not going, but still, I can't imagine anyone really being in the mood, least of all his mum.

Work stuff nearly sorted after hours of agony on the phone to Italy yesterday afternoon and DDs plonked in front of the telly.

Glad the nursery went okay Eddas. Pants to biting Oooggs - once maybe, but three times! I'd be too.

Doobydoo · 16/05/2008 09:25

Sorry Bramshott

PillockOfTheCommunity · 16/05/2008 09:27

oh Bramshott
knowing it's coming doesn't make it any easier when it does x

Eddas · 16/05/2008 09:32

bramshott, agree with potc, knowing doesn't help, will be thinking of you today

DC's dropped at nursery. DS not too impressed again. His little face is so sad i know he'll be fine but th little blighters like to make us feel guilty. DD unfased again. She went in the same room as ds to start with so hope that doesn't affect ds IYSWIM, when she has to leave he may get very upset

I'm going to ring a bit later to see how they are. It's going to be a long day for them.

I really ought to make the most of my dc free time. Not sure where to start though. there are so many things i could/should do

CaptainDippy · 16/05/2008 09:46

He will be fine Eddas - he is just at that "seperation anxiety" age, DD3 has been going to nursery for 5/6 months now and she still gets teary and wobbly lippy when I drop her off. She's fine after 15 mins or so though (I know, I still occasionaly phone to check up on her )

So so sorry about your Grandad Bramshott Difficult decision about your cousin's Wedding. Don't know wht I would do, probably go ahead. What would your Grandad have wanted had he been better? Thinking of you and your family, praying for you at this sad time. xx Glad you got work stuff sorted xx

Bramshott · 16/05/2008 09:57

Thanks for your kind wishes ladies.

I have been on the phone to Italy for the past half hour, got cut off innumerable times, no-one can help, and DD2 is screaming the place down. I so much do not want to be dealing with any of this this morning . Am going to head out to music with O and deal with the crap later. Hope I don't regret that!

CaptainDippy · 16/05/2008 10:52

You won't regret it - GET OUT ..... sounds like you need an outing sweetie. xx

Doobydoo · 16/05/2008 10:59
