Welcome to the chattiest post-natal club on MN!

We spent a year together chatting about all things pregnancy and baby...

...we've tried and tested countless baby products...

...exchanged hundreds of tips...

...talked about all the big things in life, all the little things, the good times and the tough times...

...we had a good laugh together 😁...

...and somehow we now have gorgeous 3 month old babies without looking a day older ourselves 😅 (must be that good laugh!)

@Inmypjsagain Oh so your LO sleeps througg around 12hrs already? My DS used to sleep solid 11pm-8am for ages, but we've been moving towards consolidating his eve sleep with his night sleep and like I said, it's going ok but don't know when to feed him for the night if not at 11pm. Maybe I'll feed him more tomorrow during the day and see what happens. It is really tricky with bf though. I might up his formula top up maybe and see how it goes. xx

@PurplePansy05 yes we’ve been very lucky, he used to do an 11pm ish feed and then sleep to 6 so my husband and I slept in shifts so we’d get a full night. Then we reduced the night feed by an 1oz every 3 days for a week? Ish? And he stopped waking and slept through- unsure if that was the reduced feed tactic working or if he night weaned himself. He’s been sleeping 7pm-6:30/7am since October? Or early November? I can’t remember- sleep regression seems to have hit us for daytime naps, we don’t get more than 2 hours total sleep a day but I’ll take an unbroken nighttime sleep. Honestly though I go to bed every night wondering if this is the start of night wake ups because I’m sure bad sleep will get us at some point! So hard with BF, but I’d try and offer an extra feed in the day- If he takes it- and a big bedtime feed if possible. (If he does a bigger nighttime bottle or feed be prepared for saturated nappies, so good to size or double up for bedtime)

@PurplePansy05 we’ve only started to get 12 hour nights this week. I increased the volume per feed, I offered a couple of oz at 9am to make up but DD doesn’t want it. Apparently it can take them a week or so to ‘learn’ to increase day feeds but if DD was crying and wanted feeding, I’d just give so i know I’m not starving her. I can’t remember who shared an IG link to reducing feeds but I followed that / the woman’s page. Was it @Inmypjsagain?

Might be a coincidence with the TT snip, no more dummy, no feeds overnight or just a growing out but we’ve had no sick over night this week at all. Yay!

Yes it was me, www.instagram.com/itsminimatters/p/CSJh_EkCbi3/?utm_medium=copy_link here’s a link to the Instagram post about reducing feeds @PurplePansy05 her account is quite good in general and every Sunday she does a Q and A which is helpful.

@Fran919 woo for no sick!!! Must be a relief, 🤞🏼 it m stays that way!
