Hi girls, just an update: dad had his heart surgery yesterday morning and is still in intensive care but is now breathing by himself which is obviously a really big step. It´s been pretty emotional and we just have to take a stage at a time so right now the next thing will be waiting for him to get back onto the main ward. Dh and I decided not to go to London as we were due to leave today and as of lunchtime he hadn´t started breathing on his own so we just didn´t feel it was a good idea.. did leave N with his gran and have a couple of hours shopping therapy which distracted us from the non stop trips to/from the hospital for a bit. be back on more whenever i have time to myself again hope you are all ok x

Hi to everyone else I have failed to mention.

All ok here, but knackered and feeling a bit yukky. Think it is stress, as work is kicking off big time, even though I am not back until December! Done quite a few hours this week and have to go in again on Monday to kick someone's arse.

No school for B tomorrow - bloody teachers are on a training day. She hasn't been there for 2 weeks even! Going to see The Tweenies Live tomorrow afternoon at the theatre with B, so that should be fun !

LOL at the sleepsuit discussion. I know when I was 8 I really envied my baby brother's clothes. Those ones on ebay aren't as nice as D's babygros though. SPB, I bought D a set of blue ones with dogs on the other day - where's the one of T's that you mentioned from? (as well a coat and a few bits and pieces to wrap him up warm in for Alaska and for the winter to come). I'm sure in a few years he'll be disgusted that I made him look so ridiculous in zebra stripes and spotty dog prints

On a more serious note, Maveta, sorry to hear about your dad, thinking about him and hoping that he continues to recover.
