I'd love to see, but erm, not sure what I'm looking for...

mmk · 19/09/2007 22:01

do you mean your cleaning?

Sexonlegs · 19/09/2007 22:06

Think so mmk. Sounds as if SPB has been on mission. Not nesting are you?????

MJ, glad you are recovered.

Octo, thanks for your note. I think I am going to just hold off, as she obviously isn't ready for it.

Can't believe all these teeth coming through!

Right, off to bed. Dh was tossing and turning last night due to work issues and kept me awake too - grrrrr

See you gorgeous ladies tomorrow.
xx

Morning all, just popping in while pumping! Dreadful night, poor P up at 4,5, 6 .... still sleeping now - yukky cold, me too! I'm shattered, bleurgh! Oh well, no point moping, got to stay cheery!!

What are people up to today?? DD1's got pre-op appt at the hospital so will be having to pick her up from Pre-School early (she won't like that a bit....) and leave other 2 with my mum and gran .... eeeeek! Hope they don't wake up and if they do, they are good! Then older 2 at nursery this pm, so P and I will join mum and gran in doing something (I'm hoping shopping )

Eddas · 20/09/2007 08:41

hi ladies,

cd, sorry to hear you had a bad night, it's all so much harder with little or no sleep. I'm a terrible tired person.

Morning SPB and elkie>

DD has a terrible cough so been up a lot in the night, thankfully dh is still off work so it's a split shift in getting up. She's ok in herself just keeps waking her.

We're off to buy PINK paint for the dining room today I'm so excited

I've started a diet again. Going ok, but this is only the beginning of day 3 so lots of time to fall off the wagon

Hope everyone's well

nappynuttynormabutty · 20/09/2007 09:22

Sorry you had a crap night CD. Hope the cold gets better quick.

My bloody veg delivery is crap . It was great the first week (veg is lovely, it's convenient, means I don't buy lots of crap in the supermarket) but last week we didn't get a delivery. Seems they had some system problem or something and ours was missed. They wouldn't send it out to us on another day . They agreed to give us 20% off this weeks order. So this morning dh is changing Erin and it gets left outside the door, no-one knocked . Anyway, dh brings it in...and it's WRONG . They've brought the mini fruit bag. Instead of a standard veg bag I have a huge fruit bag . There's no milk. There's no onions. Instead of a wholemeal brown loaf, there's a white one. . They didn't open til 9am (veg delivered at 8) so no idea what's happening. Currently hoping veg delivery man is still in the area and can come back and give us the right stuff.

nappynuttynormabutty · 20/09/2007 10:03

Oh FFS . "The driver is now 1.5 hours away so we won't send him back to you with your veg". WTF????????

They're going to send it tomorrow before 9...helpful...seeing as we're going away tomorrow. Oh and if it doesn't come then...we won't be charged. So now I have no veg for today, don't know if it's coming tomorrow and therefore don't know if I'll have veg for when we get back from ILs.

FFS...he's an hour and a half away because your bloody stupid office wasn't open when he started his f'ing delivery. Not much f'ing use if I have a f'ing problem and want someone to sort it before the f'ing driver gets too f'ing far away to f'ing well come back.

CaptainDippy · 20/09/2007 10:12

Sounds like you need to get your money back. Soundsl ike you need to ifnd a new Fruit and Veg Box Co ..... which one are you using??

Still feeling rough, have to go and pick DD1 up to take her to the hospital for her Pre-Op appt. Mum and gran are coming to look after other two - Pleeeeeease don't wake up, pleeeeeease let them be ok!! Eeeek!

elkiedee · 20/09/2007 10:17

Sorry you had a bad night Dippy, hope P can follow T's good example.

I'm meeting one of my postnatal group and her daughter in Finsbury Park this morning. She's just back from honeymoon. I was hoping more of us might make it but it doesn't seem like it, as now by the time I get back from holiday the first of us will be back at work.

We bought a new laptop last night - dp needs it for work and they will probably cough up for it, but we can also take it on holiday, so I may drop by the threads now and again, though it will probably be night time here in Britain (9 hours behind in Alaska, 8 in Seattle/San Francisco).

nappynuttynormabutty · 20/09/2007 10:20

It's Farmaround North. Am seriously thinking of changing. Will have a look to see what else is available. I went for them because they seemed to have the right selection of boxes iykwim.

elkiedee · 20/09/2007 10:21

Eddas, good luck with the diet.

Nutty, what a PITA about the veg box. Someone else probably has yours and is moaning about brown bread and not having their fruit. Hope they'll at least refund your money for the inconvenience this week. And good luck surviving your delightful inlaws.

StealthPolarBear · 20/09/2007 10:22

hope youre ok cd you sound stressed and ill xx

OP posts:
nappynuttynormabutty · 20/09/2007 10:24

Thanks, they only charge after it's delivered so won't be charged for stuff I haven't got. Thing is we were already getting 20% off this week cos it didn't come last week at all. I'm more annoyed because they won't actually bring my veg (I can't see why they couldn't get the driver to come back to me given the crap service I've had - I feel like they don't really care about having my business)

CaptainDippy · 20/09/2007 10:24

Nutty, we use Abel and Cole - I think they are an national company (though I couldn't be too sure ) They are fab - I nearly always get what I want and anytime I have complain, they've given me great free stuff!

nappynuttynormabutty · 20/09/2007 10:26

We did get some free stuff (pasta and sauce). A&C do deliver here but I'd seen mixed reviews about them on here, hence not choosing them...didn't do me much good tho. Perhaps I'll give them a go. Off to check out their boxes now!

CaptainDippy · 20/09/2007 10:35

Yeah give them a go, they are v.good around here, I have to say!

StealthPolarBear · 20/09/2007 10:42

well they liked the house - I think we might be moving - I really really hope!

OP posts:
nappynuttynormabutty · 20/09/2007 10:45

Oooh, SPB, how exciting . Glad it went well...was this the people with the house you want to buy or the other people?

CaptainDippy · 20/09/2007 10:50

Exciting stuff!!

StealthPolarBear · 20/09/2007 10:57

the people with the house we want to buy!
Also turns out she is a midwife and was on duty when I went in ... she swapped when she realised she knew me, or she would have delivered my baby!
