As for old and knackered, do I qualify, being a new mum at 46? don't look a day over 90!

yesterday, I decided that, come what may, everything would wait while I did my hair. So poor little wombat arrived at NCT coffee morning in her pjs.

Evening ladies .

DH is working a vile shift - 4pm to 4am - tonight and over the weekend. So I got out a girlie DVD and have just finished watching Pride & Prejudice. It was really good, despite not being a real Kiera Knightly fan.

WO - please don't feel like a crap mum, babies get grumpy sometimes. Even Mr laid-back-placid-ds had to be taken out in the buggy most of today because he kept doing the most God-awful screeching noise and nothing else stopped him, not even the Magic Nork Trick. One of the problems with being a mum that if no-one tells you you're doing a great job it's easy to be a typical female & assume you're crap. And who's going to tell you you're doing a great job??? Being a mum really is one of the most under-rated tasks in modern society I think.

I think I'd better stop wittering.....
