CD - have a nice time this afternoon!!!

Hello MJ!!!

Elkie - have a nice time with your mum.

SPB - Hello!

Liath - glad to hear J is sleeping better.

RH - no idea what to suggest but hope someone else does!!!

geordiemacminx · 10/09/2007 12:13

hey ladies.

I'm here, have been lurking recently, by the time I catch up I either have to go and do something far less interesting, or have forgotten what I was going to say!!!

Things a bit upside down here, for the past week C has been waking up 3 times a night.... last night between 6 and 8 he had boob, bowl of baby rice and 9oz of formula, and then still woke up at 1...grrrr

Part from that nbothing much exciting here, was up visiting dp's family last weekend, got my mum coming up tomorrow.

Oh C's first tooth has come through too [proud mummy emoticon]

Sorry for tyhe lack of personals ladies, I cant remember anything... lack of sleep... serves me right for beinbg so smug at C sleeping through from 8 weeks....

Oh if anyone is after their lo's passport, I sent C's away normal post on tuesday, got passport on saturday so that was good.

StealthPolarBear · 10/09/2007 12:23

Oh no
Must be a growth spurt hopefully will be over soon

Sexonlegs · 10/09/2007 12:33

Hi there. Thanks for your messages re B. She was only there 3 hours, and will be for the next 6 bloody weeks. She did fine thankfully.

GMM, can't believe C has a tooth as well. Pesha's wee man has one also. Hope you get some rest.

Nutty, hope the Tyxilix works. It is the nightime irritating cough one that we have used with B.

MJ, glad you are feeling brighter.

Hi to everyone else.

Right lunch time, and then need to take dh to the airport - he is away for the next 2 nights - SOB!! xx

Idreamofchocolate · 10/09/2007 12:44

Hello all, have been lurking lots....

SOL - glad B was fine at school. I think we imagine they're going to be scared, timid, sad etc. etc. when you leave them at school for the first time when, IMHO they run into their classroom and don't give their poor crying parents a second thought. Em adjusted to school brilliantly and we've never had any trouble leaving her. I bet B will be the same . The short days for the first term are am utter PITA though. I had that all to contend with last year and I felt like I spent my entire life driving backwards and forwards from her school.

Dippy - good to see you hon.

GMM - C sounds hungreeeeeee! I hope he gets his sleeping under control again.

S has more jabs this afternoon, poor wee thing.

OK I need some advice from you sling fetishists (Dippy, Ellie?) - I need a sling that doesn't kill my back and can carry S facing forward, backwards and on my hip. I've been looking at the Mei tai ones but have no idea where to start. What would you recommend and where is the best place to buy them from? And tips gratefully received .

CaptainDippy · 10/09/2007 14:14

Hell - popping in quickly!

I am sooooo tired today - yuk!

How about a http://www.babyhut.co.uk/acatalog/babyhut_direct_slings_and_carriers_5.html Tricotti sling? Does everything you want it to and is v.easy to use! Sell them in my shop for £38! Just a though.

Gotta go - children being unruly!

CaptainDippy · 10/09/2007 14:15

Link that Works

nappynuttynormabutty · 10/09/2007 14:39

I won't be on anymore. I'll still be going to the xmas party (so don't panic KHIN ) and will pop in every now and then to check if there's any news about it (if anyone sees anything they think I should know urgently then please email me ).

Thanks for all your support, bye xxx.

StealthPolarBear · 10/09/2007 15:11

nutty hope you're ok

StealthPolarBear · 10/09/2007 15:42

From now on I would like my baby to be referred to as CBS
It stands for Cute But Stinky and is in honour of two huge stinky nappies he's had today.

Idreamofchocolate · 10/09/2007 15:55

Nutty - hope you're OK and that we see you back. Take care xxx

Dippy - thanks for that link. So would you recommend a sling rather than a wrap? Am rather liking the look of the wraps you see as they seem to give really good support to the baby and to my poor old knackered back. Something like the Tricot Slen on that website or the Moby - what do you reckon? Problem is I want one NOW!!!!!

S is heavy (16lb 6oz as of this afternoon) so need something with really good support.

Peshatlast · 10/09/2007 15:59

Can you see my tooth?

Idreamofchocolate · 10/09/2007 16:02

Pesha - all I can see are a whole load of random pics. No teeth.

Peshatlast · 10/09/2007 16:03

Poo Hang on...

Peshatlast · 10/09/2007 16:04
