Skott is very sharp for a man

My engine light has been on all day Ellie and I have been ignoring it - went all the way to Lydiard Park in Swindon to meet friends (and back) with it on ... la la la fingers in ears/over eyes

runnyhabbit · 22/08/2007 19:27

octo - Totally understand where you're coming from. Take care and love to you and your family x

mammyjo - don't worry! Glad you've been posting on here tho, otherwise I might've had to come round your house to check up on you I'm still bf, but W seems to prefer formula from a bottle, instead of ebm, iyswim. He didn't like the Avent bottles (typical, as thats what we had left from J!) so tried Tommee Tippee closer to nature and he took it straight away!

ellie - rofl at M is this what I've got to look forward to?

wo - Feel so sorry for your bf problems. I think I would've thrown the towel in long ago x

normabutty · 22/08/2007 19:28

That is a bad day. Hope you got the car sorted. Did you make it in to work then? were they ok about it?

CaptainDippy · 22/08/2007 19:29

What a super jolly fabbo day, Ellie!

Well if you thought you had a bad day - how about this ......

Pushing S & P in the pram home from swimming. Stop at the island in the middle of two Zebra Crossings. Little 2-door type Renault stops for me to cross (quite a sharp stop, but not screeching brakes or anything); I don't know what happened, but I hesitated and bloody good thing I did cos a massive great Landrover ploughs straight into the back of the Renault, knocking him into the corssing!!!!!!

If I had stepped out my children would be dead.

CaptainDippy · 22/08/2007 19:30

Man in Renault and man in Landrover all ok - Renault a complete write-off I'd say.

runnyhabbit · 22/08/2007 19:30

I thought ellies day was bad, until I read CDs post - OMG -

normabutty · 22/08/2007 19:31

CD that's awful, bet it gave you a fright. Blimey, good job you didn't step out...i hate it when cars stop like that...it usually takes as long as if they'd carried on iyswim.

runnyhabbit · 22/08/2007 19:31

are you all ok CD?

Have you had lots of chocolate to help you get over it?

CaptainDippy · 22/08/2007 19:32

EllieK · 22/08/2007 19:48

you do realise that having been voted the April Lady most people would like to meet, it is morally wrong of you to leave?

OP posts:
octoandflash · 22/08/2007 19:50

wunk to you too

Yes - a final fix - waiting for dh to cook me dinner - nothing on tv - have scoffed the choc and am on second glass of wine. I will be seeing some of you at the baby show - am def working the saturday and sunday.

octoandflash · 22/08/2007 19:56

My job is done here - I have converted half of you to cloth nappies, been in labour for several weeks and then nearly had him in the car, gave my baby a ridiculous name, offended several mn'ers with my flappin fanjos thread title then flounced, measured my nipples, discussed various hamburger toppings , breastfed, bottlefed, breastfed, weaned, bottlefed, breastfed ... and changed my name atleast 12 times! ... breastfed ...

weeonion · 22/08/2007 19:57
