Bloody horrible weather here Ladies

aprilmeadow · 30/06/2007 20:23

Hi there,

So lovely to meet you today DM & TTM. Got home at 7pm and as soona s we walked through the door Jack turned into a little shite. Through his digger across the room and then chucked a real paddy when i took it away!

toytownmum · 30/06/2007 22:36

Hi

Lovely to meet you.

FM - still want to meet you, shame you weren't there today

All children were lovely and it was good to finally put faces/voices to names.

Being the oldie of the group, I hope I wasn't too much older than you expected!!!!!!!

DS2 stayed awake all the way home and the first thing DS1 said to him was 'have you got my present please'!!!!!!

DS2 stinks of garlic, think it must have been the pasta, does Jack have a garlic smell to him? lol

TTM x x

TheMuppet · 01/07/2007 10:53

Hi

Lovely to meet you both and the children.
AM-lol at Jack & His Digger!

TTM-Bless your DS2 asking for his present.

Darcie got in and with her taxi i brought yesterday thought it would be fun to crash it into the wall and off the coffee table!

fransmom · 01/07/2007 20:03

wish i had been there too. it was chucking it down here for most of the day. (and most of the weekend...........)

how old are you ttm?

toytownmum · 01/07/2007 23:28

FM lol - I am 33 and will be 34 in December.

aprilmeadow · 02/07/2007 08:16

TTM - LOL at oldie of the group!
Dont think J ate enough of the spagetti to have a whiff of garlic.

FM - sorry that you werent able to come along. Will have to find a meet up place nearer to you for later in the summer, when we might actually see the sun.

TheMuppet · 02/07/2007 14:31

FM-was shame you couldn't make it, but we'll come closer to you next time and as AM says hopefully with better weather.
It was horrendous getting into gunwharf, does make me think why do ppl like to go out shopping when its pouring down.

TTM-lol at the age thing, your not old at all.

Weathers still PANTS here.
Although Andy went and booked our holiday today but still don't know where it is, he says it'll ruin his surprise if he tells.

fransmom · 02/07/2007 22:18

tm bless him!

ttm you're not that old silly bugger. i'm 33 in december.

it's been raining again here

toytownmum · 02/07/2007 23:09

Thank you for all your kind comments, I like to think i'm not an old 33

Hope everyone is well, when is the summer coming?!?!?!

DS2 used the potty at nursery today for the first time ever - maybe he will be in pants full time before DS1. DS1 is trying so hard and really wants to wear pants all the time, but is really having probs asking for the potty, maybe this is because he was so prem(29 weeks), although maybe its just due to him being a typical boy!! I have been blaming myself for him not being potty trained due to the fact of my job and the hours I sometimes work, but I feel(hope) if I am totally honest that he wouldn't be any different if I was a sahm

TTM x x x

aprilmeadow · 03/07/2007 09:24

TTM, boys are slower than girls at these things and the fact the ds1 was so early will play a part in this. They say that premmies should have caught up by the time they are 5 (i think). I know Ella wasnt anywhere near as early (36wks) but just by being the wrong side of 37wks i have to flick between charts of gestational and birth age. Well done to ds2 on the potty thing. Jack is always so proud whenever he produces on the potty or the toilet.

He managed to sleep in his bed until 6am!! woohoo result. Although i think that was down to the fact that he didnt sleep at all during the day. Poor little mite crashed out at 6.45 on the sofa.

Ella has a little cold at the mo - so much snot!

Hope you all have a good day x

TheMuppet · 03/07/2007 09:44

TTM-Well done to DS2 and DS1 will catch up.
Darcie is going through the stage of not wanting to know the potty even tho she wants pants on!

AM-Bless Jack, i think i'll have to bang darcie round the head.
Shes started to sing Jelly on A Plate is really sweet.

Jack sings happy birthday and baa baa black sheep. sooo cute. I do like this age, full of so many funny things that just about make up for all the naughtiness.

toytownmum · 03/07/2007 21:14

DS2 had us in stitches this morning, we heard him singing happy birthday in his bedroom and then he appeared in our room with bits of his tool box that he had made into a cake with bolts for candles, and proceeded to recite happy birthday word for word. How sweet Not that it was any of our birthdays!!!!!

Poor Ella.

fransmom · 03/07/2007 22:32

bless your ds2 ttm!

ella it's horrible when littlies have horrid colds, they get so miserable don't they? fran just getting over hers now.

she sings twinkle x (twinkle, twinkle, little star) and she sometimes says "sing twinkle x mommy, sing twinkle x" !

i was drying my hair ready for wrok yesterday morning and she comes in and says "you aright babe?" (that's what her dad says sometimes and then she comes in again when i'm brushing my teeth and says hello sweetheart!

TheMuppet · 03/07/2007 23:33

TTM & FM How sweet for both your children
to do that.

AM- Hope ella gets better soon

aprilmeadow · 04/07/2007 06:52

TTM how funny! If we tell Jack that its X's birthday then it stays their birthday until we tell him its someone elses! It was my step-dads for about 3weeks!

FM, they are sponges/parrots at this age and it cracks us up at the things he comes out with. So cute

Ella is still snotty but is perfectly happy and so far sleeping and feeding as normal.

toytownmum · 04/07/2007 10:01

AM - Please can you email me details of the website that you mentioned.
Glad to hear Ella's excess amounts of snot aren't causing her too many troubles.

When is this wonderful weather going to end??

Hope everyone has a good day, i'm off work today and the boys and I intend to have a very lazy day, hope our plans don't get ruined.

TTM x x

TheMuppet · 04/07/2007 13:48

TTM - good thinking on the website?

TTM - Is your lazy day going to plan?

toytownmum · 04/07/2007 14:07

fransmom · 05/07/2007 22:34
