Hi!

Currently 6 days post partum I have been using only water wipes so far on my dd my partner suggested huggies 'newborn' wipes I personally don't trust it and would rather spend the extra money

Has anyone used the huggies ones or have comments on either wipes?

Thank you Flowers

Love water wipes. So much easier then cotton wool and water and no sticking to balls 😉

Tho are costly. Usually £2 a pack which is insane as just bloody water !!!

Hate Huggies. Do seem to give rashes

Avoid johnsons due to hype over chemicals

Pampers are soft as are Superdrug own

I started with water wipes then moved on to pampers sensitive and johnsons extra sensitive wipes and not had any issue with using them they are just as good as water wipes and not quite as expensive!

I mostly use cotton wool (Boots pleat is best from my point of view!) and water. I really disliked the water wipes I bought to take to hospital as they're so cold and wet I ended up having to wring them out. For out and about I buy the Aldi sensitive wipes and although my baby's bottom is very sensitive to nappies (all brands but Asda seem to cause a rash) the brand of wipes seems to be much less of an issue.

I found Huggies pure smelled strongly of chemicals. I can't find anything better than water wipes they truly are worth the money on newborns at least. I've also found the simple baby wipes quite nice now DD is 4 months.

Water wipes are the only brand I can use without the skin on my hands blistering so I can tolerate the "no chemicals" marketing and ridiculous price tag. I live in fear of them being discontinued before dc3 is out of nappies.

On the other hand none of my dc have ever had a reaction to the regular "sensitive" wipes dh uses.

Pineapple they are far, far, cheaper using Amazon subscribe and save, especially if you have other items to get a 15% off.

I don't like Huggies, I find the material breaks up and leaves bits on baby's bum!
I like Boots fragrance free wipes.
Have used wipes since LO was born.
