Welcome home btw.

Zamboni · 02/01/2015 19:07

Welcome back Noisy it's good to hear from you? How is life?

How was the bath Eliza? You did v well to avoid Frozen until now - think we watched it twice yesterday but in my defence the weather was shit and DH was at work and we were all grumpy because the sodding fireworks woke us up. S and DD like to act out the entire bloody film though so they are pretty active during the viewing!

Elizadoesdolittle · 02/01/2015 19:07

Yes sorry, I do seem to have taken over the thread somewhat of late.

Didn't make it in the bath in the end but in laws turned up and took us out for a late breakfast at a garden centre nr here which also has a soft play bit. Then we went to buy DD1 some new school shoes and E got some too as she's gone up a size. Still only 4 1/2 so tiny feet. Both my children always seem to end up in half sizes. Annoying as am more tied to having to buy expensive shoes.

Anyone got any exciting weekend plans?

Elizadoesdolittle · 02/01/2015 19:16

zamboni my 2 act it out too. When I was making dinner I heard DD1 telling DH to play the snowman song which basically involves going out of the room, knocking on the door and then singing the song. I heard him being chastised for getting the words muddled up Smile

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 02/01/2015 19:55

Ha am making my two watch it is English so they are still a bit muddled as to the story and the lyrics :o

Weekend plans: tomorrow going out to get Rolo puddings as DH fucked up my email order and got mousses. Which would have been acceptable until two weeks ago when I discovered Rolo puddings over here.

Other than that putting away laundry- the pile is up to my shoulders. and mopping the floors

Sunday is due to be sunny so am having a no phone or web day and going to a local small animal park and hopefully lunch out.

BigPigLittlePig · 02/01/2015 20:03

II am working. Here enfeth the Christmas breakSad

Kyz · 02/01/2015 20:43

Hey Quiche :) I have been checking today for Eliza baby updates but haven't had time to post!

glad you had a good New Year Lily good luck with all the upcoming studying :)

Hi noisy lovely to see you :)

I have avoided frozen so far, I did put it on once for my niece as she is obsessed but E just wasn't interested

eliza e tends to have half size feet too! though to be fair he's a 9 at the moment but before being a 9 he was all the halves from 5 1/2. Exciting weekend for me as I pick up my puppy tomorrow :D Squeeeee!

rolo puddings sound yum gg and I hope you enjoy your weekend :)

aw :( poor you Bp

Not sure if i'll get on tomorrow as it's going to be a long day, so hope everyone has a good Saturday!

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 02/01/2015 20:46

You can get rolo puddings in any supermarket kyz

I have been deprived for 17 years, except on trips home to my mum's. She always fills the fridge with them when I come over.

Passmethecrisps · 02/01/2015 21:15

Hallo.

Welcome back rara!

The weather here is pissing awful. Totally horrendous. We did brave it to ikea though for some new lights and meatballs. Nice trip other than the crippling stomach cramps I suffered mid way round. A trip to two different loos in shame the loo with a chatty p while I was doubled over in agony did sort it though.

"You having a poo mummy? Need paper? All done? Need a washa hands now. Pooooeeee"

Now waiting eagerly for my chicken risotto.

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 02/01/2015 21:18

LO has started announcing farts. Loudly. Hers obviously in public and her sister's. we never fart in public and blame it on the girls oh no not for at least a month!
But even when she hears something which could be a fart she shouts "oups, prout!" And cackles.

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 02/01/2015 21:19

Oh and btw ikea food made me ill last time pass not surprised you needed the lav.

Passmethecrisps · 03/01/2015 00:47

I remember! Thankfully two visits and a slightly sweaty drive home had it resolved

NoisyLittleLion · 03/01/2015 09:07

Thank you for the lovely welcome back ladies.

pass glad you are feeling better. There are no secrets with toddlers. M proudly told my mil "Mummy have a black bra on today" as you can imagine my face was a suitable shade of red.

BigPigLittlePig · 03/01/2015 10:26

Morning all. About to head to bed...

But first, on the background of toddler over-sharing.

Yesterday morning, F was in the bath, and I left her for a minute to get something out of her room. Well, the instant my back was turned, I heard an almighty scream, and found her cowering in the corner of the bath shouting "poo, hiding, THERE!!" as a floater bobbed through the bubbles towards her. Fast forward to the afternoon at our friends when, like Pass's P, she insists on giving my toilet trip a running commentary.

"Mummy toilet, wee, there? Ahhhh, wee there. Poo? Mummy poo?"

"Mummy poo hiding? Mummy hiiiiiiding, poo poo, where ARE YOOOOOUU?"
etc etc.

Blush
Elizadoesdolittle · 03/01/2015 10:44

Aren't kids and toilets great. DD1 proudly drags E to the toilet when she's doing a poo. She shuffles forward at the point when it's about to drop and E pokes her head right down the toilet so she can get a proper look. Just gross.

Zamboni · 03/01/2015 11:22

Ah yes, poo inspection. Along with praise. Wee in toilet Mummy? Good girl Mummy. Um, thanks? I often hear chuckling in response to public trips to the loo.

YellowWellies · 03/01/2015 12:48

Jonas has figured out toilet door locks and loves to flash me, mid wee to the waiting queue with a cackle of "peekaboo Mummy!!!!". Envy

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 03/01/2015 15:02

Ooh yw DD1 did that a few times. When you go into a cubicle where the door is too far for you to be able to hold it shut with your hand or foot while you go to stop the little buggers opening it tis the panickiest pee ever :o

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 03/01/2015 15:03

And when the door opens outwards it is even panickier.

Lily311 · 03/01/2015 18:29

My mum said to O to go upstairs for her nap today. O said, check my nappy, there is poo in there. My mum couldn't believe her ears and she did have one.

isles7 · 03/01/2015 19:36

"Mummy, where are your bottom stickerzzzzz. I want a sticker too."

Cue massive tantrum because I wouldn't let her have a sanitary towel Blush Blush Blush

StuntNun · 03/01/2015 21:01

Isles my DS1 did that too! BlushBlushBlush

StuntNun · 04/01/2015 09:42

Major good news from the Stunt household: J ate pizza two nights ago and no sign of a reaction!

Wandathewindfairy · 04/01/2015 09:44

O is only interested in DS1 going to the toilet. And if O poos DS1 is desparate to see the poo Confused DS1 is constantly talking about bottoms and poo and him and his cousin have conversations consisting of "poo poo pants" hahahahaha "poo poo pants" hahahahaha.

Hmm

O is more bothered with wrecking his brothers lego creations, finding ways to upstairs without anyone noticing and nicking the mop to wave around dangerously.

Anyway. I think we may be a step nearer a holiday. I think DH spent most of his day yesterday buried in his I pad either researching or doing something re holidays. I dare not ask as if I do and he says yes but ( some query ) and I get involved, and there is a massive discussion, well, it just over complicates things. I am quite happy to have a faite accomplie presented to me. I manage the rest of our family stuff, it is nice to absolve responsibility.

How's it going eliza am I still in with a chance of winning in the week late sweep stakes?

Hey, don't bugger off and have it and deprive us of a life birth thread Mrs.

Wandathewindfairy · 04/01/2015 09:46

Hooray, the crowds roar at the breaky news from stunt towers. It is a massive accomplishment stunts. Tell me, you most be so relieved this morning?
