ValiumQueen · 16/03/2014 07:34

I too would choose a cinnamon swirl. I want one now. Thanks for that Grin

Morning Chasing x

And morning everyone else x

StuntNun · 16/03/2014 07:45

I hope you're feeling better this morning Chasing. When you're settled in with your job then you could renegotiate your access arrangements to keep O e.g. on the first weekend of every month.

No chance BigPig, DH hates quiche and J is allergic!

DH was going to give J a bottle of cow's milk last night Hmm he's such an idiot I wish he would pay attention. When it's his parents or siblings that are ill then he spends loads of time getting information for them but when it's his children he doesn't bother. He told me J didn't have an egg intolerance because it takes five hours for the symptoms to show up and he thinks they would show up right away. Confused I'm also cross with him because I keep having to take coins, screws, pens and packets of tablet away from J which usually results in much screaming. I have no idea why DH leaves such a trail of discarded objects behind him.

I offered her rolls in the shop but she kept looking at the cinnamon one like it was the best thing in the whole world. She was so happy when she got it. I just love how small things make her Smile and appreciate of her awesome mummy.

I forgot to say she said yesterday auuu- mummy in Hungarian is anyu. Totally loved it.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 16/03/2014 08:57

Passmethecrisps · 16/03/2014 09:45

Morning.

Poor wee p is a bundle of snot this morning. No balance so lots of falling over and crying.

She did, however, decide that she wanted to trim her toenails. So she now has lovely neat feet

Sophiathesnowfairy · 16/03/2014 10:22

What did she do that with?

Passmethecrisps · 16/03/2014 10:36

I assisted with the nail clippers

Sophiathesnowfairy · 16/03/2014 10:54

I am glad she asked a grown up to help because scissor are SHARP. Wink

ValiumQueen · 16/03/2014 11:13

Sophia I was feeling very confident in my sterilisation until the lovely PR sent me a linkey about failures Wink

Elizadoesdolittle · 16/03/2014 11:21

Morning all, another lovely sunny day here. DH just taken girls to shops so I am unpacking some more boxes mumsnetting. Got a kiddies party this afternoon which should be fun.

Was a success babysitting DN and she slept through till 7:30. But typically E chose to sleep till 9:30 this morning. She never does that! So I didn't get to take advantage of a lay in but it did mean I got to spend a bit of time with DN without E trying to climb on her.

sophia Shock

chasing hope you are having a good day today.

lily sounds a lovely way to start the day.

ChasingDaisy · 16/03/2014 11:58

The only way I can get O to let me cut his nails is to let him play with a pair of nail scissors at the same time Hmm

Sophiathesnowfairy · 16/03/2014 11:58

Mm mm I know vq I have been doing some reading and remember I was having that sharp pain in the area of the clip, ish. Confused

My other thought is could it be pre menopause stuff? Your cycle can go a bit wonky on the lead up by all accounts Obviously one would need to ask how thing panned out with ones mother, I can't really do that and I am not sure who my mum would have spoken to about that kind of stuff. I don't think is the kind of thing I can talk to my dad about.

If nothing has happened by tues I will POAS, just to rule it out.

Passmethecrisps · 16/03/2014 12:14

P is very good at having her nails done even after I chopped the tops of her fingers off when she was 3 months old. I had done her fingers and she took the clippers away and started mimicking what I had done but to her feet. So i clipped while she held her feet.

She has been nap avoiding due to being a molar growing beast so we have gone out a drive. While I kill the time I have some serious style advice required

Passmethecrisps · 16/03/2014 13:06

Argh. Stopped for an emergency maccy D's and p woke up when the engine stopped. That'll teach us to need food. She did exclaim "mammee" on waking so rough with the smooth I suppose.

Passmethecrisps · 16/03/2014 13:38

And I didn't share my chips .

PurplePidjin · 16/03/2014 13:47

Sorry Pass R has been asleep for 2 and a quarter hours. In his cot. Not including 15 minutes in the car on the way back from Sainsbugs because he woke up when we got out. I don't know what to do with myself! Might get off my arse and make more muffins acksherlly Hmm

ChasingDaisy · 16/03/2014 13:57

Who shares chips? Do people actually do that?

So, am feeling slightly more human today. Pretty numb, but more like a functioning adult. Am very grateful for everyone who contacted me yesterday (Isles, Pidj particularly) and very sorry not to reply/answer - I was not in a good place, but it helped an awful lot Thanks

Ooh Shamrock I was actually due to be born on St.Patrick's Day but turned up two weeks early.

PurplePidjin · 16/03/2014 14:04

2h35 now. And the muffins are in the oven. Come on, little dude, mummy wants her lunch! might have to do a paranoid check on him in a minute he rarely naps for longer than an hour

PurplePidjin · 16/03/2014 14:04

R was due on St Andrews, Chasing glad you're feeling better Thanks

PurplePidjin · 16/03/2014 14:39

PetiteRaleuse · 16/03/2014 14:45

DD1 was due on Shamrock day but the ob gyn had had a drink by the evening so left me in labour til the morning for the not quite an emergency cs.

PetiteRaleuse · 16/03/2014 14:56

If it had been urgent the in house ob gyn would have done it btw.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 16/03/2014 15:11

Shamrock get an extra day with DH! [Grin]

PetiteRaleuse · 16/03/2014 15:32

Both my girls tasted and enjoyed frogs' legs today. Lovely morning on their bikes/equivalent, followed by a nap inducing drive, lunch then a walk in the forest. As we got home the sun came out Hmm
