Rubes fab news on the call from your bro.

Rubena · 13/11/2013 20:00

Yes, hoping he wasn't instructed to call by anyone Hmm it was almost over the top nice / formal.
Vag your gonna fit right back in - too funny! Apparently they did ok - and about 20 mins quicker than their first one. He doesn't love it, but she's become obsessed - almost overnight.
DH not home tonight.... again.... [sigh] am knackered though today, so early night.

beans37 · 13/11/2013 20:40

Rubes, it's a first step in the right direction, which is great.

tried putting DD3 down in her moses basket upstairs tonight. screamed the house down. bugger.

I'm very windy. pooey.

beans37 · 13/11/2013 20:55

I also have a sore lump in my armpit. ouch.

Rubena · 13/11/2013 21:14

I get that a lot beans. Often ingrown hair or a lymph node I think

JamInMyWellies · 13/11/2013 22:07

Beans I had a dodgy spot a couple of wks ago felt farking enormous but disappeared a few days later.

Rubes am so glad your DB called, small steps.

How sad is this everyone. I just wrote a list of stuff to buy at boots tom, 2 top items Prep H and tenas. WHen did I become someone who reg bought prepH and tena ladies?

ShadyLadyT · 13/11/2013 22:31

You have such a good excuse though, Jam Grin

So sorry to be AWOL dear girls. The usual crazy rushing plus a bit extra. Will bore you all about it tomorrow as I should have some time.

I didn't even know there was another thread!! I don't think a thread has got to 156 messages before without my having seen any of it!

Rubes, you thought about the Coil and had it fitted, all in that time! I'm not brave enough. No news on No.3, largely cos we keep forgetting to do it at the relevant time. Doh.

Arti - that sick on the tube story was a shocker. Poor, poor you. I actually spent last weekend with our mutual friend D!

I must go as I am blooming shattered - so much to respond to on here - much love to all.

Hons, I'd love to do Secret Santa.

Vagolajahooli · 14/11/2013 08:31

Morning ladies. How was everyones sleeps? Beans any chance of a repeat sleep through performance? I wouldn't say I had a bad nights sleep but the bloody catd decided to push the Hamster cage off its shelf and I woke at 6:30am to an almighty crash and hamster cage stuff all over the place. The poor hamster is ok but he was due a clean out of his cage so hamster floor fluff stuff was intermingled with hamster poo poo. Gross. Naughty cat. I've finally cleaned it all up but for some reason the cat is now cross with me and is constantly meowing.

Beans could the sore area be a milk duct, or is it too far into your armpit?

Hi Lady lovely to 'see' you as always.

Vagolajahooli · 14/11/2013 08:37

Oh and Jam do tena ladies come in thin liners? These days my pelvic floor has improved to a level where I only have ishoos if my bladder is full and I sneeze three times in a row OR if I have to skip or bounce. This is where the thin tena ladies come in. I'm doing this crossfit thing now which I love, but some times we have to skip or do hoping things. The other day I had to do 90 jump ropes x 4 & 30 jumping jacks x 4. It was carnage, and I didn't even think I had anything in my bladder. So I need something to wear with gym tights. And do they...erm...have any deodorising capability?

OP posts:
Rubena · 14/11/2013 09:10

Vag I went into the (sorry tmi) coil fitting on a breakthrough bleed (ever since changing into that awful mini pill) and they said it was fine to put in still. Anyway the bleed I was having has nearly gone even since coil fitted (odd as I was told I'd have bleeding or spotting after it's in for a bit) anyway, I can't use tampons for a week so haven't gone to gym as I was concerned about pad with Lycra. Do you think it would be ok? (Sorry for the subject!)

Massive mitten related meltdown by dd on school run this morn. Seriously, am I the only one who has enormous issues with gloves / mittens on kids?

Vagolajahooli · 14/11/2013 09:20

This is my concern Rubs I don't want any obvious pad-age in that area, not that people look (& it's probably better than a wet patch) but you know. I'm not even really sure how to fit it in to my atire as I wear G-bungs (that's for you Rubes).

Omg it is pissing down here I need to find a wet weather solution.

OP posts:
JamInMyWellies · 14/11/2013 09:31

You can get super thin ones which according to DH dont show. There are deodorising ones but personally I dont like that awful flowery smell that they have.

Rubena · 14/11/2013 10:43

I'm a permanent g-string (vag that term of yours must be NSW?) wearer so have got done thin "thong" ones but just not sure if they will stay put running. Would hate to have one slide down my thigh somehow. Anyway it's almost gone but will go when dh gets home with one on and report back. Wink

Rubena · 14/11/2013 11:24

Urgh me neither jam.

Vagolajahooli · 14/11/2013 13:40

Omg Rubes that would be mortifying. Esp as some of the stuff we do includes hanging from a pull up bar frame thing. Imagine if it popped out the bottom of my 3/4 length tights!

OP posts:
Vagolajahooli · 14/11/2013 13:42

Mmmm....flowery smell yeah not so good but it's only for the session and if it covers up...erm...anyway.

OP posts:
Rubena · 14/11/2013 13:58

Hopefully we'd notice it before it popped out the bottom. Oh dear. The images in my head now. From what I hear on FB if my mates crossfit sesh's, I can see why you're worried. It's full on. It's a shame wee comes out a different part. Otherwise easy fix.

Rubena · 14/11/2013 14:00

What do you mean need a wet weather solution? Btw

Rubena · 14/11/2013 14:05

Have just taken dd for her flu misting. Meant to be next week but had a cancellation. Let's hope not much fever or anything develops. Not sure I can bare it after her behaviour the last few days.

Vagolajahooli · 14/11/2013 17:46

Rubes what do you mean a different part? What easy fix?

Sorry should have said a wet weather cycle clothing solution. My over trousers have lost their water proofness and I keep getting saturated jeans on the school run. I have actually just bought a good poncho as it will cover my head well and has a face cover and will cover my legs. I see now in the context of our other discussion, the words 'wet weather solution' may have sounded a bit icky.

OP posts:
sybilfaulty · 14/11/2013 18:00

Vag, you are funny. Wet jeans are the worst though. Take so long to dry and feel cold and euch.

I'm on for secret santa. To be honest, I'd be up for a draw of names quite soon as I'm not too bad time wise right now but shortly work will hot up then ill be stuffed again and santa will come late. Boo! Should we set a date for those of us who are interested to make ourselves known? Who is going to be Santa this year?

Knackered tonight. Kids tea done, chicken for ours, kids to bed then I foresee a cheeky episode of it takes two before Dh comes home. I remember watching it when I was pregnant with Lucy 9 years ago. Happy days.

Rubena · 14/11/2013 18:11

Ah vag I meant the need for tena lady for you is a different need than for me and if you had same prob you could just shove a plug up there. Trying to be cryptic to spare our readers but I think I'm giving the visual anyway. So what I meant is, Shame wee doesn't come out the same hole as period does as tampon would avoid the pad dislodgement worries.

Dh rang to say bike light broke so went to cycle shop for cheapy on the way home. Was expecting 645 arrival and at gym by 7 to test panty liner / Lycra situation but not looking good. He always underestimates.

Rubena · 14/11/2013 18:14

Oh now the crank has completely ripped off dh bike and it's unrideable. He's only got to Richmond park. I predict no gym for me, and a glass of wine poured imminently.

Mckayz · 14/11/2013 18:46

Just marking my place. Absolutely shattered after a night out on Tuesday and can not seem to catch up with anything.

Hope everyone is ok
