xposted. will never make it til 11...

Rubena · 02/11/2013 21:15

Yeah. #insomniac here - much better now with more exercise though.

Hmm strictly, not sure who I want to win.

Arrtttiiieee · 02/11/2013 21:32

We are supporting Sophie on Strictly. She is a local mum with and her middle son is in DD1's swim class. She always seems v normal and friendly.

Rubena · 02/11/2013 21:49

I do love Sophie actually. Very good and very humble. Rachel tries hard. Abbey is good but coming across a bit precious, and I think she'll go postal if she gets out. Natalie clearly the best but obviously hasn't started from scratch. There's one every year. My vote with Sophie too I think. Plus I like Brendan.

XFactor. Loving. Sam. Bailey.

Right, that's bed for me. Over and out ladies. Wishing you all fabulous sleep.

DeidreBarlow · 02/11/2013 22:09

I do like Natalie in Strictly, DD loves Sophie! So either of those to win.

I find the X Factor contestants crap on the whole. I love Sam she gets better every week. Also have a soft spot for Rough Copy. Scherzi gets more manic every week though!! She was drunk or something tonight.

Too much beer me thinks.

beans37 · 03/11/2013 10:19

A lovely night's sleep. 10-12, 12.30-4, 4.30-7.45. Happy days!!

Vagolajahooli · 03/11/2013 18:39

Yay on the sleep Beans.

Felt a little fragile today on account off excess beer consumption last night. I blame the beer for tasting too good. But had a lovely day yesterday out rollerblading round the local park with the boys. Turns out DS2 is quite the roller blader, though they aren't properly set up as rollerblades they have one wheel at the front and two at the back. But he did still do very well balancing on them and was flying around the park.

Right they've finished in the bath, time for books.

Vagolajahooli · 04/11/2013 08:06

Did I break the thread?

JamInMyWellies · 04/11/2013 09:04

Am off to have a squeeze of mini beans today. GrinGrin

beans37 · 04/11/2013 09:39

Yay! Can't wait. Although she's a currently a bit screamy....

Rubena · 04/11/2013 10:43

Urgh GP keen to get me off current pill cos I'm old. Hate changing these things. Prob have a load of side effects now. On the upside she was clearly on my side with receptionist-gate and gave me flu shot straight after bp check and before I even finished talking about how bad I am with needles Grin and I didn't pass out! I feel so grown up. Loving her. Taking dd in for one as well soon.

Dh finally coming home this afternoon - but may get asked to go a list. [Sigh] oh we'll, we need the cashola for the house I guess.

Have fun with the latest beanette jam! Envy

DeidreBarlow · 04/11/2013 12:29

Have a lovely time With baby beans jam!

Vag have you sobered up then? I seriously need to detox! Drunk way too much visiting my sis and carried on when I got backBlush. Need to shift a few pounds before the festivities start for Xmas!

Did the shred this morning after tweeting with rubes. The foot feeling ok despite being in pain again last night after wearing heeled boots for 2 hrs yesterdayHmm. Boy I've lost fitness in my 5 wk absence. Plan to shred/swim for another couple of weeks to rebuild fitness and if foot feels ok start run/walk again. Right enough exercise talkWink

Had a lovely time with Jam. DD3 didn't disappoint and did a huge puke all over Jam's coat. Luckily it was waterproof and pukeproof! But was smashing and you're looking so well, Jam. Loved it! Lets do it again in a couple of weeks.

Am off to pick up DD1 and speak to her teacher about her slight bullying that's going on. She's only 4! Poor little mite. Girls, eh?

Vagolajahooli · 04/11/2013 15:06

Who is this meanie bullying the beanette, do we need to come sort her out?

Sobered up now Deids. I am also drying off the rug which was a casualty of the night. I went into get DS2 to do his wee at about 12, we have a little pot he wees into. He did his wee and went back to bed but in my clumsy drunkeness I dropped the pot and it spilt on their rug. It gave me the giggles something terrible and I was nearly incapable of sorting it out.

Ruby wax is talking at a local bookshop tonight and I quite fancy going but I don't know if I could be faffed. The boys both have gymnastics tonight and by the timeI get them back home it will be 7.30pm and it startsat 8 & will quite possibly packed to the rafters. I did a very evil cross fit session today which involved a lot of squatting and lunging so I really need a seat I don't know if I could stand through the whole thing.

Rubena · 04/11/2013 16:16

Vag I actually thought at first you had spewed on the rug!

Glad you're getting back in the game deids. I have to sort out this cold weather sitch or I'm destined for the gym all winter??

Beans hope the issue with middle beanette gets resolved. I can't stand bullying. Ds just told me that "mike" in year 1 won't let him play their game at lunchtime - no physical thing but it's his best reception mates friend outside school. Doesn't seen too upset, but mentioned it.
Right dh home in a few mins finally so picking up the dd and heading for early pub meal with fireplace Grin

DeidreBarlow · 04/11/2013 16:21

Hope you get it sorted beans. Girls are v v cruel!! Sometimes they don't realise and sometimes they do do definitely worth a chat with the teacher and get it sorted early.

The teacher is on the case, which is great. She's very much aware of the situation. phew.

JamInMyWellies · 04/11/2013 18:00

Hurrah for lovely teachers.

It was great seeing Beans today, and meeting mini Beans. She gave me some gorgeous smiles after vomming on me. GrinGrin Beans on great form although lacking in poo stories. Wink

beans37 · 04/11/2013 18:04

I haven't been out in public enough recently to have embarrassing poo stories!
Tory hasn't slept since we left you, Jam. Until now. Sparko on my knee x

Rubena · 04/11/2013 20:48

Beans you must get out more. Not complete without a good poo storyGrin

Back from nice pub meal. Kids were beyond excellent which was amazing after horrific night of croup induced coughing / crying from dd which led to hysteria and ds waking at 4 refusing to go back to sleep because the "nighttime is too long" eventually did but woke at 530 for the day. Unheard of. That'll teach be for pulling bedtime early while dh at work Hmm

Vagolajahooli · 04/11/2013 22:42

Hooray for pub tea Rubes.

Had a brilliant night out with a mate. We went and saw R u b y W a x speak she was great but was a bit unwell. We stayed on for the book signing. I asked how she was and how crap it was that she was unwell. I said I was a nurse. She started telling me her symptoms (generally heady crap feeling, sounded like virus). I told her she needed a couple of paracetamol and a good sleep and if possible as much rest as possible tomorrow. She was really funny and asking anything else she should do. She also said did I have any paracetamol. I said yes but it had codeine in it (not available over the counter in NL). She said "will it make me feel better". I said it would, so gave her two and took off (got a nice photo with her). I hope she doesn't react to codeine. I feel a bit bad giving it to her but she looked so tired and wanting to feel better.

Rubena · 05/11/2013 07:07

Vag the mobile pharmacy to the stars! Hilarious. Lovely piccy of you both. You do get up to some interesting stuff! Hope its just as busy back home for you.
Must get out of bed.

Vagolajahooli · 05/11/2013 08:04

I'm sure Kate Ceberano gets headaches Rubes Grin. I hope MsW is ok, I would never normally give someone codeine unless they told me they have taken it before. But she looks so unwell, you know that feeling when you just want to feel better. Poor thing there was a massive line of people for the book signing. She would have been there for at least another hour. And she chatted properly to each person not just a nod, smile and signature.

Rubena · 05/11/2013 09:02

Grin @ Kate C!
