VQ I asked the dietician about going on to Lipl 2. She said 6 months whether weaning or not. Didn't need to be 'on the nose' but it has the necessary nutrients for a 6 month old.

Glad you are feeling better YW. I remember at about Christmas time having some kind of bug which started by a horrendous attack of acid reflux in the middle of the night. It was awful. I remember lying there feeling utterly miserable thinking at least I knew what was wrong with me and could go and get down meds. Poor babies!

Poor you and E horsey. That sounds a lot to me but P has never been a chucker so I have no sense of scale. I would mention it to te docs just to be sure.

Love the name inspiration chat. I love how a name can mean nothing until you see the baby attached and then it takes on a whole new level. I love all the quiche baby names. I am always showing DH the pics on Facebook and he always says "oh, that's a nice name". I think the babies make their own names work.

We picked Penelope years and years ago when having a red wine chat at the kitchen table. We wanted a name which could be big or small. If that makes sense? I am a sucker for daisy, Molly and so on but we wanted something where she would have some sort of choice. I hate my name so this was important. I had real problems with a boy's name though. I was worrying as I felt I was struggling to bond with a boy with no name. We went for Henry but I am not sure a potential master crisp would get this moniker.

Thanks for all the good luck wishes :) Work went fine. They all seem like a nice bunch. I did have duck into the loos a couple of times to hand express as I got quite sore and I did miss my girls but all in all it was a good day.

Sorry - I'm sure I've forgotten things - I haven't logged on all day so I've a lot to catch up on between making lunch and bottles etc for tomorrow.

Just off for a shower and then bed. N slept from half 7 til half 1, and then til half 6 last night. I can't remember the last time she didn't wake up at least every 3 hours. I'm hoping for the same tonight - though I expect I'll be disappointed

pass We have similar name tastes. I wanted Daisy for DD1 but DH veoted it. Instead it's her middle name. DD2 was going to be Henry if she was a boy. Oscar was also in contention but it didn't flow with our surname. vq Jacob is a lovely name. Yes it's getting more popular but I don't think that matters in the great scheme of things. DD1's name has become really popular but I love it, she suits it and I think that's all that matters.

We received an offer on our house today. A shit one so was turned down flately but it's encouraging. We are willing to go lower than any of our previous buyers managed as they are cash buyers so could move quickly but they went 35k below asking price. No point entertaining taking this as it would mean we couldn't afford the mortgage on the place we want to buy. Hopefully they will come back with a decent offer.

Well at the moment both girls are sleeping peacefully. Long may it continue. Am shattered. Must make sure I go to bed at a decent hour. Am rubbish when I don't have someone to tell me to go to bed. I stay up far too late faffing.
