spotty I hope ds (and DH) have let you sleep a bit, you sound st the end of your tether.

seymore so far I hadn't been that tired that I'd needed to Fred laying down but at midnight I was just do tired I reckon I'd have fallen asleep whatever position I was in!

honey I hope you're ok.

Well we're up again. We definately have a self regulated routine of feeding at 12, 3 and 6. This will fit really well when the big dcs are back at school. :)

EggsMichelle · 05/01/2013 03:56

F also seems to like feeding at 3, although I think it was the dirty nappy that woke him this time. Passing the feeding time by browsing MSE, I love it there!

FriendofDorothy · 05/01/2013 04:12

Urgh. Edward fed really well about n hour ago and then has juse comprehensively puked it all back over my duvet Sad gross?

yuletopian99 · 05/01/2013 04:31

lovely fod! We had a practically pukefree day yesterday and until 5pm today, but since then have had some spew-fountains, including one right down my cleavage. Nice, very nice. Hmm

Equimum · 05/01/2013 05:38

Hey, can I join you guys now? I gave birth to a little boy, weighing 8lb13 last Sunday. The birth wasn't exactly to plan. I did get my HB but gain a third degree tear and list a lot of blood resulting in surgical stitching and a few days in hospital. But hey go, the main thing is that little J is okay, we're home and, despite everything, J lost less that 6% body weight by day 5.

Just finishing 5am feed. Had best night so far having to gently wake him for both feeds. Will catch up on thread when I have a chance but just wanted to say hello.

SpottyTeacakes · 05/01/2013 05:56

Hi Equimum glad you're finally home Smile

We've had a shit night. Ds didn't settle until two then woke at 3:30 and 5:30

HoneyMumandSon · 05/01/2013 06:08

feel your pain spotty

yuletopian99 · 05/01/2013 06:11

Congratulations equimum!

Spotty we've had a night like yours. Co sleeping is helping my sanity but sleep has been in 1 or 1.5hr chunks max. Had him.in a gro bag rather than blanket as i thought a better solution, not sure if this is the culprit? It's 2.5 tog due to time of year..

SpottyTeacakes · 05/01/2013 06:28

At least ds does sleep in his Moses, I know if he's crying its because he wants feeding. We're all up for the day now anyway! Dp is going out tonight for one if our friends birthday. I want to go!

Coffee all round Smile

SpottyTeacakes · 05/01/2013 07:13

Just caught dd trying to shove a Weeto into ds's mouth Hmm

Clarella · 05/01/2013 07:52

shit night here too.... it's an issue with passing wind/poo and lasts 3am- 8am.

anyone know if gripe water works?

hi equimum and congratulations! sorry about your tear hope it's healing ok

Clarella · 05/01/2013 07:53

lol weeto spotty ..... a friend caught her husband holding chocolate to their 8 wk olds mouth Hmm

WillYuleDoTheFandango · 05/01/2013 07:53

Ha Spotty quick dietary advice chat needed I think.

Welcome Equimum

I had a night like the rest of you, back to bed I think. Yawn!

Clarella · 05/01/2013 07:56

I had onions in dinner last 2 nights... I wonder if a link ..

SpottyTeacakes · 05/01/2013 08:02

Dp was supposed to be watching her but he thought it was his tongue poking out Hmm

Wonder how long it takes to get into your milk Clarella?

HoneyMumandSon · 05/01/2013 08:22

Shit shit night. Dash won't stop screaming for more than 20 mins at a time. Let out some impressive disgusting, vibrating farts but don't seem to have helped him. What is wrong with him? So tired.

EggsMichelle · 05/01/2013 08:26

DH has hidden the infacol, so I now have a very wriggly baby who isn't crying but definitely trying the fart whilst using my nipple as pain relief. I think I might go bite on DH's nipple and see how he likes it.

HoneyMumandSon · 05/01/2013 08:30

eggs we now have 3 or 4 bottles of infacol dotted about the house!

Bellaboo123 · 05/01/2013 08:32

Another windy baby here but improving dueto gripe and massage- someone posted a YouTube link earlier in the week and we've been doing that with some windy success...worth scrolling back 3/4 days to try it.

Passes coffee...and biscuits!

EggsMichelle · 05/01/2013 08:33

I bought another bottle yesterday but can't find that either! And I'm sure he has just thrown up the entire content of my boob.

Clarella · 05/01/2013 08:36

lol eggs!

I wonder if I should try infacol again.

was told by hv that what you've eaten takes 4 ish hours yo get into your milk and then I guess baby's system is about 3/4 hours so if I do the maths 3 am seems to work out....

actually I forgot to have fennel last 2 days might try again

EggsMichelle · 05/01/2013 08:36

And I am constipated, I'm tempted to glug the lactulose with my branflakes. My bowels haven't worked properly since the birth :(

Clarella · 05/01/2013 08:36

of course hv not nec right....

Bellaboo123 · 05/01/2013 08:45

Can infacol and gripe be taken together?

EggsMichelle · 05/01/2013 09:21

Clarella I was drinking lots of citrus drinks (continuation of pregnancy craving) and since stopping them all together, F has been much more settled, and with a bit of infacol he is generally an easy baby (touch wood)
