Hi everyone - seems like forever since I posted on this thread. Hope all ok (Thaleia, sorry to hear that you are feeling low still, I would recommend you speaking to your GP too - also it doesn't sound as if your husband is being particularly sympathetic. What does he do to help?).
DD has been a bit poorly the last few days but seems to be coming out of it now. She was off her food and dribbling loads and had some raised spots on her hands and nappy area. Either teething or a mild case of H,F&M.
She has really taken to solids. She loves peas - goes wild for frozen peas done in the microwave which is lucky as they are so easy. She like does this bouncy nodding thing and snorts through her nose when she gets food she likes which looks cute but completely weird. No speaking, just syllables da-da-da, ma-ma-ma, ba-ba-ba and Ditzzzzz, and squeals and growls. She is cruising and crawling properly and very fast but cannot yet stand unaided. Still breastfeeding, sleep still fairly rubbish but I can get her off to sleep by just putting a hand on her back and breathing slowly and loudly SOMETIMES.
She doesn't have a routine so sometimes it's one nap and sometimes two. Today she did a short one in the sling this morning then a long-ish one in her cot this afternoon. It would have been longer (was 45 mins) but I had to wake her to collect DS from preschool.
She has 8 teeth. She is very good at manipulating small things like toy cars and will attempt to post things in the toy post box and put the the rings on top of the stacking ring tower. She weighed a bit over 7kg last time I weighed her a couple of weeks ago but I think she's had a bit of a growth spurt since then, she certainly feels a bit more solid. She is a long thin baby.
My DS turned three a few weeks ago, he is a proper little boy. He starts swimming lessons this week - going into the pool on his own.
We are going to see my dad in Italy in June. I am a very nervous flyer and I am worrying about the planes already.
