Very nice, Huggy! :)

Sorry to miss you, Trib, it was mega last-minute. Had a good time, stocked up on a few food items, went to my favourite restaurants. We are liking Germany a lot, it is much the same as the UK in many ways, though I haven't managed to find easy-peel satsumas/clementines/mandarins (never can tell the difference!), and the bread here is on the drier side than I'd like, but no huge disasters or troubles. And there is no Sunday opening for shops, that takes some getting used to! But we are close to good parks, the pool, shops and stuff, it's a really nice area. I just wish I could speak the language faster!

Glad it's going well nohun. Bet you know more than you think though!

Lovely Huggy :)

NoHunIntended · 09/08/2012 13:23

I know some vocab, but the die, der, das thing is hard, and people speak so fast. I hope that it will all start clicking more soon!

Glad you had a good time back here nohun.

Satsumas tend to be limited to winter, are lighter orange than any other variety with flat tops and bottoms. When organic they're lovely and sharp.

Clementines are year round, bright orange, flat bottomed and pointed top they are the most fragrant.

Tangerines are thicker skinned, mid orange and larger segments. They tend to be a bit blander and are rounded at the top and bottom.

Mandarins are very juicy, flat bottomed and bright bright orange.

Can you tell I like my citrus fruit?!

DD is a poorly girl. High temp, been sick today and very lethargic. Sad

NoHunIntended · 09/08/2012 21:56

Wow! You know your orange citrus fruit! I am impressed! I like them too! They just all look much of a muchness to me!

Hope DD gets better soon.

Thanks, FB won't let me post. I think she has a tusk instead of a tooth coming! Her temp's high and she was sick this afternoon. She hates the heat as well.

NoHunIntended · 10/08/2012 22:43

Oh bless her. DS has two teeth coming through, I can see them poking up. And his hair seems to be looking more full now!

I noticed his hair on one of your latest pics nohun

Dd3 seems fed up of her sisters this holidays, they keep trying to tell her what to do!

HaitchJay · 12/08/2012 13:30

Think dd3 has cracked the potty! ( wee wise anyway) she refused a nappy this am and has been a few times off her own back rather than me suggesting it. When she's weed she runs away and doesn't want to have anything to do with it ( IME toddlers like to empty/flush)

HuggyPommelHorsebear · 12/08/2012 21:24

Well done to your DD3 HJ. DD announced to everyone in a pub garden on Saturday that she wanted a wee wee. Blush

NoHunIntended · 12/08/2012 22:03

There's even more hair in real life, the photos don't do it justice!

Yes, we have a fan of emptying and flushing here!

Grin at the wee announcement!

Plumsieinaonesie · 27/08/2012 21:26
