I've had three. Best was the elective with spinal (dd3). Felt I missed a lot with dd1/2 being unconscious

MonsterBookOfTysons · 08/04/2012 11:44

Happy Easter guys :o

HJisoffwork · 08/04/2012 13:53

help here please!

SilverSky · 08/04/2012 19:55

I may go down the route of if no natural labour by x I'll have an elective. Confused

NoHunIntended · 08/04/2012 20:56

Wow, Silver, congratulations! Good luck with the birth, however it happens.

HJ, sorry your DD is still poorly. Poor poppet.

tf, I've had two visits to the dentist with DS, but still he said there was no point seeing him at this stage. Will find a new dentist here in Germany anyway, hopefully they will start young!

Ty, here already, been nearly a week!

SilverSky · 09/04/2012 14:03

Have you moved for work?

Good thing about Germany is most speak English which is very useful!

NoHunIntended · 09/04/2012 16:29

Thanks, Ty, settling in well.

SSky, we are here for DH's work, yes. I am wanting to pick up the language, and not rely on people speaking English. But it is great most do, for now!

Dd3 ate some mashed potato & peas for lunch. Nearest thing to a meal in 9 days now. Think her throat is v sore.

HuggyPomBear · 09/04/2012 18:46

Well done to your DD HJ!

SilverSky · 09/04/2012 19:27

Sorry she's poorly hj Sad

tiredfeet · 09/04/2012 22:44

glad she's improved a little hj

MonsterBookOfTysons · 09/04/2012 22:50

Oh bless her HJ :( , at least she managed something, hopefully she is on the mend

floozietoozie · 10/04/2012 23:18

Congratulations Silver!!!! Hmm, having two - I would say, despite there being two to deal with, it's still easier than getting used to having one! Everything feels so much simpler as you just don't have all the worries of not having a clue the first time round. Well maybe that was just me. Are you blooming now? I found being pg the second time mostly a real drag as no chance to rest. Ever.

Aw bless your dd, HJ she sound so poorly. Glad she's eaten something.

And ...Huggy - did you say dark chocolate Lindt bunny????????? How come I never knew about this before?! I gave up chocolate for (non religious) Lent and that would have been perfect to break it with.

SilverSky · 11/04/2012 20:24

There is some definite bumpage going on. Was told today I was blooming and my face looked thinner tho I suspect that had more to do with scraped back greasy hair!

Nobody tells you how hardcore it is being pregnant with a toddler. How come the fellas are less sympathetic the second time round? My moans and groans about being tired go largely unnoticed! Hmm

MonsterBookOfTysons · 12/04/2012 10:09

Silver Dh wasn't as good the second time either.

HJMP · 15/04/2012 20:18

Just bumping you before I lose you!

NoHunIntended · 15/04/2012 20:32

Are you an MP, HJ? :)

OP posts:
HJMP · 15/04/2012 21:52

Dr Who reference. Harriet Jones,MP (later PM). I needed more than 2 letters so this is my stop gap!

NoHunIntended · 15/04/2012 22:58

Oh!!! I've never seen it.

HJMP · 16/04/2012 07:17

floozietoozie · 16/04/2012 22:03

Hey, NoHun, how's it going in Germany?

NoHunIntended · 17/04/2012 23:01

Yeah, good, settling in fine! A few stresses, like house hunting, but we will get there! Wish I could speak German though!

OP posts:
HJMP · 18/04/2012 08:04

It's a crash course for you though!

HuggyPomBear · 19/04/2012 08:40

Morning all...Morgan Nohun Smile.

I got home from hospital yesterday. I had 2 repairs for damaged caused by the obsteritician at DD's birth. Came home a day ahead of plans and am feeling well. No lifting for 6 weeks, no driving for 4 weeks. I am hoping that it all stays fixed.

Hope you're all well. X
