waiting for taxi to airport..went to soft play to try and wear the girls out.. it hasn't worked ..fingers crossed my nerves hold out for the run around the airport/flight/carry all the stuff etc ..

queenie sounds like you need a good burp or fart. chug a coke or down some tomato juice (or both). the tomato juice tends to cause continous farting though so be prepared.

TS I have invented a delish recipe for black beans in the slowcooker today! Soaked dried beans overnight and threw them in the crockpot this morning with fried onions, a tin of tomatoes, a tin of French onion soup, garlic, fennel seeds, cumin, sweet chili sauce and paprika. It's tasting sweeeeeeeet right now but I'll admit that frying onions first thing made me forget to eat my own breakfast.

mrtweakers has a status saying they are having a nice cup of tea. grrrrr. i presume she is here but we want details!!

Nah, I bet she won't come out til 9pm at least.

Buckets that sounds really good (minus the fennel seeds). Do you mean sauteed onions? When I think of fried onions I think of deep fried onion rings. Although that would go really well with Onion Rings. Now my mouth is watering.

I have accomplished NOTHING so far other than shower and feed my kids. Oh and get one off to school. I'm blaming Tweakers.

PMS isn't helping my state of mind either.

Neither is the fact my letter to parents hasn't been approved yet by the assistant principal. It REALLY needs to go out today.

So my "room mom" thing is handling all the book orders for the class. I assume ya'll get to do the same thing. Book catalogs are sent home monthly. Parents can purchase books at a tax free rate and all orders give points to the class teacher so she can order things for the class, like more books. Well I am spearheading the ONLINE process and I guess handling all the paper stuff as well. September order deadline was last Friday but I have extended it to this Friday so folks can have a chance to look at what's online. The teacher doesn't have time to manage that so I get to. YAY!!!

R is climbing into the blanket chest and trying to close the lid. It's too full though...especially with HER in it.
