Welcome to the latest thread for mums of babies born in March ( and a few in Feb and one in April!).

Come on in. Find out who'll be pg next and who's weaning onto what.

FlipFantasia · 28/09/2010 23:24

OK, off to bed here too. Night night all.

FlipFantasia · 28/09/2010 23:26

Just saw the other posts. BMI yet more Envy from me - ipad! Lucky you!

Pixie meant to say how cool that this was in your official diary - a true honour Grin. Seriously though, hope the days are passing quickly for you and remember we're always here.

And now off to sleep properly!

teething. Just what you need.

So sorry for coming on full of high chatting hopes and then crashing with disaster. Just can't quite get my head round a happy healthy lovely bubbly young mum who won't be there by the time her daughter (who's in between DS1 and DD's age) starts school.

---------

But I'll be around for any Pixie chat you'd like tonight. In between Davina DVD (for the stomach flab is reaching my knees) and ironing...

Morning

Sorry the twins were unsettled. Don't envy you having twice the teething if DS is anything to go by.

Another day down and by the time you get back from school run today will be virtually half way there too! X

BlueyDragon · 29/09/2010 09:57

Pixie, I should have said last night how much I'm feeling for you with DH away. The time will pass though and you will get through it because you are a very strong person .

Arcadie, how sad about your friend. Not much else to be said but prayers. for you, too.

Alex and DD are both at nursery for a couple of hours. I don't know what to do with myself! Iwcas, our experience of nursery is very positive - DD is a confident, happy pre-schooler and much of that is due to her nursery. When I was choosing a nursery I looked for one that felt welcoming and where the children were happy and that's what we got. The only downside I can think of is DD is almost too social in that she misses other children's company when she's at home with me, but then before Alex she was in nursery full time so is usually surrounded by noise. Another downside is that if they are sick you have to take time off, but then with any other form of childcare you have to take time off if the carer's sick so swings and roundabouts really. Happy to bore discuss further on FB if you want.

evitas · 29/09/2010 10:37

Good morning ladies

Sorry I couldn't stay for the chat yesterday but DH was a bit under the weather.

Pixie sorry to hear the girls are unsettled. But it's Wednesday and your DH is almost home :)

Arcadie oh dear... cancer... I can't think much about about it - that terrible disease already took so many loved persons from my family

Hope everyone is well.
x

Arcadie - what awful news. Since I had children, my personal fears about dying have been superseded by my fear of what it would mean for my children. So, much virtual love and support to your friend and her family.

Pixie - I saw your thread yesterday. I hope you're feeling a little better now. It must be hard for you, both emotionally and practically - and all the more so with teething twins. Is DD1 still at home to help a bit? Or has she gone to ballet school? I forget....

Sorry I missed the live chat yesterday but it looks like a good time was had by all.

Colds, conjunctivitis and consequently clingy babies aside, not much is happening here. I've had to miss my weekly exercise class - and have just eaten 6 (6! Count 'em!) jaffa cakes in a kind of inverse compensation. Must go running or swimming later.

donttrythisathome · 29/09/2010 13:05

Ooh would love some jaffa cakes.

RKD how tragic. I also fear dying now just for what it would mean for DD.

Am I the only one who didn't like the Mila thing? Not the artistic side...just...I don't know...something about all that being done to the child while she slept.

Arcadie · 29/09/2010 14:18

What Mila thing?

evitas · 29/09/2010 15:10

Who mentioned Jaffa cakes? I'm trying to lose weight but I guess I'll stop at Sainsburys after work and buy one pack! :)

SmacsGonePotty · 29/09/2010 15:35

I find it very hard not to eat the whole packet when I start on the Jaffa cakes Blush
