I am installed on the sofa.

Thought it might be nice to do a Lefties revival thread to watch it unfold

Brace yourselves everybody...

They are privatising children under the age of 10.

Your child will now have to have a middle name by one of the project sponsors, such as Benjamin Alexander Cisco Systems Smith.

ImSoNotTelling · 22/06/2010 13:04

Housing benefit huge changes then

i don't really know much about it

Was one part that they are going to move people around so when their children eg move out they go into a smaller place?

How are the caps going to work in areas where the amount quoted will not cover the costs on the private market?

Clegg looks pained and awkward.

CB being frozen won't go down well.

I'm pleased re the Civil List and the requirement for Royal expenditure to be properly audited.

Lone parents expected to look for work when first child is at school - are there going to be more school-hour jobs, then? It's easy to say, much much harder to do.

Reducing corporation tax! Hahahaha. Huge subsidies to multi nationals while taking money from Mums and kids...heheheheh...

Birdistheword · 22/06/2010 13:07

Vince does not look happy

Loujalou · 22/06/2010 13:08

Coolfonz - don't you know we should be sending our kids to work otherwise they are just a drain on society [tongue firmly in my cheek]

Hassled · 22/06/2010 13:09

There should be a threshold on the Corp Tax thing - cut is fair enough for small to medium businesses, insane when you're talking about huge multinationals.

ImSoNotTelling · 22/06/2010 13:09

It says the corporation tax tihng is for small companies have i got the wrong end of the stick?

"Clegg looks pained and awkward." Interesting he sounds smug and self satisfied on the radio

Where is a stray cruise missile when you need one?

ImSoNotTelling · 22/06/2010 13:10

BBC TV screen says it's cut for small companies now it's changed its mind

Actually, sending children to work... not a bad idea... It solves the childcare dilemma...

ImSoNotTelling · 22/06/2010 13:13

Proles yes that "some people get £6trillion a week on housing ben" was daily mail-tastic.

OP posts:
LadyBlaBlah · 22/06/2010 13:13

Oooooo eventually £2 billion per annum from the banks levy

Bet they are shitting themselves

Hassled · 22/06/2010 13:13

Corp Tax - there already is a number of employees variance between % amount paid. Reduction applies to both small and large, but from the 2 different starting points. It's the large company reduction I have a ? about.

Loujalou · 22/06/2010 13:14

Franca - that is a good point. I didn't think of that when I raised the suggestion.

VAT to 20%. Fuck me.

Francagoestohollywood · 22/06/2010 13:16

Lou, what I'm now wondering is... if the children are out working, can we just stay in and MN?
